I Am AngeeB.

I go by the name of AngeeB & I am a singer/songwriter by way of Brooklyn New York. I am of Ghanaian and Puerto Rican decent. I have been writing poetry since as early as 5th grade, & also started singing in elementary school choir. I continued singing in choirs throughout school, until I graduated college from North Carolina Central University. I began seriously writing songs at the age of 14 and began networking, writing and singing for any and everyone who'd let me. I don't think my style of writing/singing fits into a genre because I say it's R&B/ Pop/Soul/ Hip Hop. Music is my escape, release, medicine, joy, pain, and love. I do this because it feels good to share my soul with you and God has given me this voice to share my words with the world!

I'm Back

So I've been gone from Tumblr for a minute! Guess what? I'M BAAACKK. Did you miss me my #Luvlies? So, a lot has happened since I last posted. I have a new diagnosis of Lupus! Yea! I mean I know it's weird to be excited about a new diagnosis but it's confirmation I wasn't tripping. So I'm happy for that. Now I have to incorporate its needs into the other illnesses. Let me recap. I'm managing Type 1 Diabetes, Intermittent Gastroparesis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Ocular Migraines, Diabetic Neuropathy, Stage 3 Kidney Disease, Lupus ( SLE), History of Stroke (Basal Ganglia 2x), High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure & Acid Reflux. These are the actual diagnosis but the way the side effects and symptoms affect your body is a whole different story. Totally different. You think it would be as simple as fixing the issue itself. Although that is the objective, the side effects of the meds and the medications interacting brings a whole other set of symptoms. So I'm left trying to manage everything on top of managing my life. Or better yet, trying to build a life in spite of all the behind the scenes juggling. All of these things cause physical and mental changes whether temporary or permanent, affecting my personality and mood. I'm really gonna make a chart or list of all the things I feel and have to manage related to each ailment. Just to give a visual insight into my life. Anyway I'm ranting. Fear and Forgiveness

I've been thinking about forgiveness. Especially relating to the Doctors and Hospitals that have severely wronged me. I believe I now have PTSD. I've felt like this for a couple of years but am just getting brave enough to speak on it. My foot is getting worse, more swollen, loss of mobility and one toe is turning black. This means an ER visit for me especially since my BS has been put of wack since my fall. I'm scared. Scared they won't listen or care. Scared they'll miss something. Scared I'll get a doctor or nurse who doesn't like me or like seeing me. Scared I'll have security called on me when they wrong me and I get upset and ask to speak to the doctor or patient advocate. Scared if I try to exercise my rights that they'll call the police to arrest me for trespassing. Scared that if I don't go I may loose a toe or my foot, but that it's an consequence I'm willing to endure rather than subject myself to mistreatment. I'm upset that these things are a very real reality and strong possibility and it bothers me. I should be asleep but i am so anxious. So anxious I haven't been able to eat, I'm very nauseous and have vomited. I don't deserve all this suffering. I try my best to see the good in everyone and every situation so I'll suffer instead of pursuing legal options. Options I don't even feel are an option because every time I try to go up the chain of command I get stonewalled and my proof disappears. Or I'm reminded I was never physically given the so called proof. This isn't right and I have no clue on how to right this wrong or if I even should. Vengeance is mine says the lord. So am I supposed to just continue to take this mental abuse? Am I supposed to just let them continue to defame my medical chart which prevents me from getting adequate care anywhere I go? People's opinions that are not based of fact. Opinions that have developed because I do ask questions, because I do question, because I do stand up for myself. I could go on and on. I just need some help and peace. So many people have been witness to this abuse, but no one can help, many aren't willing to. Oh Lord, please calm my mind, give me rest and strength and discernment to seek treatment. Lord, please send me a primary care doctor that cares, and wants to help. Lord give me discernment and a lawyer that can help if it's your will, point me in the right direction.Thank you father. In Jesus name I pray.
