I doubt anybody is going to pay attention to this, but this needs to be said, because ive been noticing a really shitty stereotype spreading around in the among us fandom.
For those who havent touched the show and fandom, Green is a character from the among us show who is a worm farmer.
I have seen this 'joke' spread around in my time observing the fandom for the among us show. Depicting Green as a 'worm kisser.' Jokes about them kissing worms, practising kissing with worms, using worms to clean themself, fucking worms, romantic or sexual relations with worms, etc. Ive seen this about eight to ten times now, four or five of those times being posts with over a thousand notes, and not a single protest of it.
Please do not do this. Please do not depict Green in any way that can be seen in any kind of romantic or sexual relation or attraction to worms.
It is a large, old, and harmful stereotype towards farmers and some specific regions of people implying that many of them feel things for or do things to the animals they take care of and used to mock and dehumanize those peoples. It genuinely sickens me to see people doing this and enjoying this. It is awful and insulting.
I know nobody is going to pay attention to this, but it sure would be nice if it did because I am so nauseated and tired of seeing this stereotype.
Please, all I want is a meal for my kids during Ramadan. It doesn’t matter whether it has meat or not — what matters is that it fills their hunger. They fast for 14 hours, and everything is very, very , very expensive here in Gaza. Please
