Thimble can’t sleep, her thoughts as fast as the dragonfly flitting of her wings or the hummingbird beat of her heart as she flies over the city of Dol-Makjar. Down below, her friend Occtis must be awake as well, because he can’t sleep anymore, not now, not ever.

This whole fic started, as a lot of my fics do, with one little line said quietly during a scene when everyone else was talking much more loudly. I don't think the subtitles even picked it up. When Occtis says that he doesn't need to sleep anymore, you can *just* hear Thimble say, "They took your dreams away?"
