Olivia looked over her cloak to see that the cloth covering the tent was rolled up to reveal the being sitting on the flat hammock, he had a large book in his hands that he was reading closely. Every so often he would highlight or write something in it.
She continued to spy on him, noticing there was a tarp being used as flooring, his large bag on top of it under the hammock, and the firepit right in front. A sigh can from the being, Olivia looked back towards him and saw that he was mumbling something. "Pluto, record and use to to try to decipher the language. I'm going to head back since he is preoccupied, " Pluto gave a thumbs up as she slowly made her way to her base. She crossed the open using her cloak to disguise herself at least a bit, trying not to jump on any leaves or to jump too high.
Fear started to seep in as she got closer to him; she thought that she would be used to feeling small just from the environment, but the top of his hiking boots alone came up to her shoulder. "Olivia, your heart rate is climbing, you need to calm down and get inside before he notices you."
With a hand over her chest and back to him; she takes deep breaths as quietly as she can while trying to get ready to jump. She takes the leap, then she hears a loud movement behind her causing her to miss the hand holds on her branch. Falling back down to the ground, ego bruised she looks down to land.
"Deploy cloak now Olivia" Pluto popped up flashing warning signs, she did so quickly. Olivia sees a massive hand just below her as she leans forward to glide away. The hand keeps pace, she tries to flap, but makes her fall faster. Not being able to hear Pluto through the adrenaline, she tries to make a hard turn right, resulting in her getting tangled in the cloak. Falling again Olivia looks back down to see now two massive quickly approaching hands under her; she struggles to get out of her tangled mess causing most of the metal to break. The broken metal started to cut the mesh lining of her suit, leaving large trails of blood and gashes in the plates tangling her further.
As Olivia looked down to locate the hands, she had already landed on the springy like leather surface. Fingers curled in on most of her body keeping her off the earth as the metal dug into her and the cloth forcing her still; the feeling of claustrophobia settling in.
Pluto had popped up in front of her, his words lost; trying to tell her something but her breathing became more erratic as she was moved closer to the giant. Thick fingers blocked her vision as vertigo rammed into her leaving her stomach behind. She could feel deep vibrations coming from behind her, Olivia's mind running in overdrive from the fear and panic. Her breath became more and more weak, her heart buzzing away causing pain.
Pluto is trying his best to calm her down with the visual breathing circle and prompts to breath in and out. None seem to work, feeling utterly useless as he watches her spiral out of control. Olivia's vision tunnels as she continues to panic. She tries to shake her head to rid of the blackness, calming her sight not wanting to pass out in the beings hands; scared of what it would do to her.
The being moved again keeping Olivia in his grasp causing her an overwhelming amount of vertigo. The blackness consumed her vision and her body finally shut down due to the stress.
Soft sounds of birds and flowing water pulled her body from the blackness; Olivia quickly looked around heart racing for some reason, but what slipped from her memory as she looked into her calming surroundings. Soft hills covered in golden wheat only as tall as her waist surrounded her as far as she could see. A small stream on her left led to a small waterfall creating a sense of serenity as the birds flew past leading her eyes to the starting of a gorgeous sunset. Golden rays of light hit the clouds, almost creating a halo. The colors changed into pinks, reds, and purples; then into blues, greens and silver. The clouds became heavier and full of rain, deep thunder was heard and felt as the clouds blackened the sky. The winds are still gently blowing warm air, the smell of rain absent.
Olivia walked closer to the small waterfall seeing the back of someone familiar, Jupiter, no words were spoken, only him waving her closer. The siblings stood there watching the clouds as the rain finally hit. At first she was shivering, surprised at how cold the rain was. Jupiter looked at her and gave her a hug, warmth covered her like a bubble. Wait Jupiter never hugged, in fact he would have thrown her into the water before she saw him. "You're not Jupiter." Olivia tried to push this imposter away but his grip got tighter, keeping her in place. Olivia fought harder, heat radiated all over her not from fighting, but from the bubble. She finally pushed his face away enough to actually look at it, nothing. No eyes, nose, mouth, not even ears or hair. It was completely blank, she felt herself shrink in his clutches. Hands covering her body restraining her, only slits in his fingers allowed her to see the sky. A sky that was once so beautiful now is an inky blackness that held a thunderous storm.
Then from nowhere she fell. Olivia wasn't falling down, no, instead she fell up; towards the storm, the man disappearing as the rain passed through him. She now found herself in the storm, but no rain touched her, the bubble of heat returned to a calm pleasant warmth as the thunder now enveloped her. Laying down on the clouds she finally relaxed, being far from the man's clutches.
The sound of people talking drew her attention. Slowly Olivia became conscious, she felt her body still being cradled. Olivia almost let herself dose back off but she heard people speaking. Not understanding the gibberish she willed her eyes open. When she did the first thing she saw was Pluto standing in front with his back to her, he was speaking to someone but not in common.
"Hey Pluto, who are you talking to?" she pried herself off the surface so she could look around. Olivia takes in her surroundings and notices that she was on a massive pillow? Then her memory kicked in, the giant hands, blood; she looked at herself and noticed that all of her cuts are completely healed.
She looked back to Pluto for answers. "Don't freak out, but Zane here helped you out," Pluto gestures to the giant that loomed behind him. The giant offered a small wave as he stood there awkwardly. Olivia froze as she stared at its hands moving, her ears ringing loudly.
Pluto was saying something to the being making motions and gestures, but she ignored it still scared of its strength. The giant started to lower itself down, effectively spooking Olivia; she backpedaled until her back hit the hammock tent wall. After the being sat on the ground and folded its arms under its head; it just stared at her with grayish blue eyes.
Pluto finally broke the silence, "Olivia I know this is really hard right now, we both knew that this was going to happen sooner or later." A huge screen was behind Pluto translating what he was saying to the being, "But we now only have 00:45:59 until it becomes dark, and unfortunately the only thing that normally would protect us from the creatures is broken. When Zane moved to try to catch you he tripped on the line and fell, causing the rope to slide down and effectively snapping the door right off, "
Then she heard the beings voice, "Look I'm really sorry, I truly thought you were falling to your doom or something, I didn't mean to scare you at all. Or break your door," She looked at the being still not understanding what it was saying, but she noticed that its face was just sad.
"Oh yeah here," Pluto had another screen just for her that translated what it was saying.
<Look I'm really sorry, I truly thought you were falling to your doom or something, I didn't mean to scare you at all>
The being looked at Pluto and nodded, "normally we would just tough it out at night and I would just be on guard," Pluto pulled up a creature that resembled an anteater mixed with Old American badger. "This here is something that will eat anything smaller than itself, and will stop at nothing to get to its prey once deemed so." Olivia tore her eyes away from the being and looked at a simulated model of what it would do to her base to get to her.
<I've seen first hand what these guys will do and let me say it's not pretty> The being just shook his head at the memory of it.
Olivia finally spoke, keeping her eyes down and voice soft, "Why are you telling me this?"
The being answered before Pluto could. <Because it's the first night they come back from migration, and they are going to be hungry>
Olivia hugged herself tighter, "Then I have no place to go."
Pluto shook his head, "That is where you're wrong, we can grab your bag and sleep here," Her eyes went wide at the thought of having to be around the being even longer. "I know it's not what you want to do, but he is the safest to be around. It's either A get torn to shreds, or B are uncomfortable but safe from those things?"
Olivia didn't like either of her choices but she sighed in defeat and nodded. She slowly got up from the pillow, she sank into the soft surface making her trip more difficult. She shuffled closer towards the being, keeping an eye on her branch.
As she got ready to jump a massive hand cut her off causing her to stumble. <Can I just put you on the branch, it'll be much quicker and you wont miss> Olivia wanted to snap back, but wanted to stay on the being's good side so didn’t. She kept her back towards it and made the jump this time.
Now on the branch Olivia could look at the damage that was done. The wall where the door connected was cracked all the way through, Barack was torn off, and the 3 coils of rope covered half the opening. Olivia rubbed her temples in frustration and sighed “Why does this happen to me?”
As Olivia climbed through the opening she heard the beings voice rumble behind her she practically fell on her face inside the broken base. <Again I’m really sorry for the damages> the beings greyish eye looked through the opening, it looked upset.
Olivia, still scared of the fact that the being can easily see into the room just stared at the eye unable to move. The eye looked at her then moved away. A wave of relief broke her out of the trance. She decided to take her time in packing all of the things that originally came with her, grabbing the notebook last.
She could hear the being move around outside mumbling. Which made her dread the idea of being around the behemoth the whole 14 hours.
“Pluto… I’m worried, is this really the best way?”
Pluto popped up, “Well if he really wanted to hurt you he wouldn’t have healed your wounds from your fall, he wouldn’t be trying to keep his voice down, or the fact he offers help but doesn’t force you to take it.” Pluto sighed “ Look I know he’s a new species; a very large one at that; you don’t have to spill your guts to him, but try to go easy on the big fella. Yeah?”
Shaking her head, “That mean Pluto, using guilt like that…but I do see what you mean, I will try, no promises though.” Olivia shoved her bag through the hole then went through herself.
The hammock tent was now in rain mode hiding the being from view, but could still hear him.
<Hey, uh, Pluto?>
<Yes Zane?>
<Is there anything she can’t eat? Also how are we gonna do this? What if I scare her even more? She just seems so fragile I don’t want to do something that harms her.>
<Well Zane, you’ll do just fine, don't stress to yourself, trust me she’s tougher than she looks, she just needs time, Olivia has been through a lot, and she will love the food don’t worry.>
It made Olivia feel a bit better that Pluto translated that, it made the being seem more, human. So while her confidence was up she jumped down towards the opening.
Yes I know it’s really late life sucks, didn’t know where I wanted it to go for a bit then decided to why not this way, there is errors I know, chapter 4 is gonna be a bit too, and I know there might be different writing styles but at this point imma just go with it. Hope yall enjoy if you don’t cool imma still try to keep writing tho hope life treats yall better than it has me.

When you're a tiny woman secretly living in the college dorms, staying hidden is your number one priority.
I've wanted to do a borrower-themed thing for a while but struggled with ideas of *what specifically*. Ended up landing on the idea of a borrower woman living in the walls of a college dormitory.
Warnings: talks about killing an animal and using its parts (not actually doing it though)

Space Chapter 2
"Pluto, can you please just tell me what was outside?" Olivia begs still go unanswered while she is taking pieces of 'The Unrelenting' back to her base.
"I will never do that. Ever. Even if you try to force me to, it will never happen; let's just say it is bad enough that we need to pick up the pace and finish the walls." Pluto had made sure that he put the timer up on her screen so she could see it at all times; it currently read 10:03:19 until nightfall.
Sighing, Olivia bounded back to the base quickly; covering the rest of the moss she put on the walls that morning with the metal she took. The process was completed with 07:45:26 left on the timer. "We'll have to decorate later, but now with the shell is finished I need to work on getting light, kitchen, and storage at least worked on."
Pluto popped up shaking his head, "No, we need to fix the door so it swings out, reinforce, and put a lock on it." Olivia hung her head and redid the door with metal on the inside and a crossbar latch as the lock. Pluto finally looked satisfied at the upgraded base. "Okay now you can work on everything else."
Olivia looked at the clock, 05:15:36, she sat on the ground and started on the shelving on the wall with the scraps she had left. She would have to work in the kitchen the next day, so for the rest of the 03:01:05, she took her dinner and before bed time break.
Pluto projected himself next to her by the door, "Olivia," she just looked up, "I- uh...I." He stopped and sighed, "It's time to close the door." Olivia watched the setting sun a bit longer before clicking the light on and locking up. She trudged over to her bag to grab the notebook, and laid down on her stomach in the bed.
She opened it, taking all the tags out, placing them next to her for a moment except Jupiter's. Making sure that they are all there, holding onto her brother's close. Pluto took his place on the bed sitting next to her, "I am truly sorry for what happened to my maker..." He tried to place a hand on her head, but it phased through. Sighing he looked to the door and started to get ready for another bumpy night.
Olivia flipped to the first page of the notebook, and started to read. It was just normal contents of a diary dating back to when he first joined the crew. Talking about how each day went for him, where there was open space there were doodles of the things he described that day. It talked about how he missed his little sister each and everyday; making sure to always sign off with 'Love You, Miss You dork'.
The loud noise of scratching from the outside pulled her away from the book's contents. She looked to Pluto who was just staring at the door; sounds of frustrated chittering from the creature made Olivia tense, but the door stayed closed this night. Then after a moment the sounds stopped and she could practically feel the creature hop away from her house. Pluto smiled, "Looks like our hard work paid off." She just nodded and gathered up the tags to place them back into the notebook, she used Jupiter's as a bookmark so she could continue later. She let her body relax, trusting Pluto to keep an eye on things.
Two weeks of this routine barely kept Olivia from going insane; wake up, eat, work on the house, gather things, fight off creatures, eat, read one day of the journal, go to sleep, repeat.
"Hey Pluto quick question." she sat at the table with her dinner and tea, "What's up?" Pluto popped in sitting across from her in his chair. "Well if I were to make something to help me glide from place to place that also helps me get away from creatures, with the materials I have now, how would you do it?"
Pluto sat there thinking. "I could make a couple of them but it ultimately depends on what you need it for that would result in the materials that you would have to make," he displays multiple holograms all having different designs, "if you are wanting something stealthy, make a cape with stabilizers and leaves or something to match the vegetation," Pluto points to the holograms as he speaks. "If you want something that gives you flight well, that's going to be much harder; you would have to kill a bird a bit bigger than you, get rid of the meat, keep the bones and feathers, and bind everything with cloth and metal."
Olivia grimaced at the sight of the outcome on the hologram, then shook her head, "No not that one, I don't want to smell of death." she grabbed the hologram and threw it away from her.
Pluto nodded and adjusted the rest of the holograms to where they don't have parts of animals on it, leaving him with one more, "Ok then the last one has a high chance of not working, but it would be made of the parts of the ship to make your own set of wings."
Olivia took the two holograms and put them side by side , looked at her suit, and made a new holo-screen to make her own idea. "If I take the cape, add a hood, use these components from the ship...no that would make too much noise, hmmmm." sipping her tea deep in thought, " Wait! I think I got it!" Olivia drew joints first, signals and relays to a button. " The material for the 'arms' will have to be flexible but also stiff and thin," ruling out sticks, and most carbon products, "oh, I could use wiring from the ship and twist them together to make it stronger, put tape or really any coating to help hold it together, yes I think it'll work for now. Then put the cloth over the whole thing and bam!"
Pluto looked it over nodding, "this might work but only for gliding. For the joints we might want to go more of an umbrella style to help simplify it, too bad we don't have any cloaking flexible metal that we could use for the outside,"
Finishing her drink Olivia got up and rinsed her cup and put it in its spot on the shelf, "Yeah that would be nice," she looked at her bed in thought for a moment, "what if I mud wash the materials so it could blend better?" she grabbed the sheet folded pillow and unraveled it.
"Well it could work to some extent but it'll still stand out if under scrutiny," Olivia just nodded while Pluto put up the list under the night timer; 00:02:39.
Olivia closes and locks the door, gets to her bed and reads another day of the journal.

Dear Self,
Today was possibly the worst day I ever had on the Unrelenting. It started off like normal but then I was tasked to install the "New" and "Improved" AI into MY ship! I was running this beast for several years now and not once did I have trouble! Not once! In fact we were one of the last crews to not accept this "Ship AI''. They told us it was a choice. We said no we don't need it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But our last docking wouldn't let us leave until we installed it. We were late to pick up my sis; who is the new medical officer, because the last one hated my guts. She also took the Medical AI helper. For what reason I'll never know. But getting back to the AI I noticed something really weird with the coding, like some of the things that were on there didn't make sense to have on a Union ship. It had a code that traced back to somewhere I don't even know and relayed information as soon as I turned it on. The AI scanned me and shut me out of the access point saying that I'm no longer needed as an Engineer Officer but as just a deckhand. Like uhhh? I tried to tell the captain after he got back from the meeting, but all he did was shake his head and looked like a kicked puppy. Then after break I got called to his office and was told that I was let go from my position. I tried to argue but he held up his hand in a shh motion. Then told me that yes I was rehired as the AI technician. I haven't even completed Pluto yet, he put a sticker over my old badge and gave me a folded piece of paper to 'read over the terms in my room' then dismissed me. I opened it and all it said was that the 'Union isn't what it seems now, gather evidence.' So yay I'm now an undercover investigator against the Union I don't know how I feel about this especially now since my sis is on MY ship.
Signed the newly demoted Engineer, Jupiter.
Placing the 'bookmark' in its new place she covers herself and falls rather quickly to another dreamless sleep while Pluto keeps watch.
Morning came all too quickly and Olivia practically rolled out of the bed, she grabbed the cup and fished the small amount of coffee she collected from her food pouches, and drinks that sweat dirty bean juice.
13:01:00. Rinsed her cup, unlocked the door to gather more materials from the ship to build her cloak.
Progress was slow building the skeleton, trying to get the joints just right to where they wont lock up on her. Then had to cover her hard work with the cloth cutting it the shape of what looked like a leaf but not. "Don't forget to mud wash it and add grass stains." Pluto finally making an appearance.
Olivia nodded, gathered the cut material and went to the door. "All clear Olivia," she nodded again and jumped down to the base of her tree. Material dropped and now being stomped into the dirt, adding the grass stalks to the moisture. After a moment more she hopped back up and hung it to dry.
Pluto popped up admiring her handy work, "I think we did just fine,"
"Yeah I have to leave it until tomorrow to make sure that the stains will stay," Olivia looked up at the clock 05:08:58, "I think I'm gonna take it easy for the rest of the day." Pluto nodded, "good it's about time we took a break Olivia."
She took the chair and set it in front of the door; hologram popped up when she took a seat and she started to doodle the forest. Olivia was sitting there happy drawing away, until Pluto popped a warning screen that something large was approaching fast.
Faint sounds of crashing broke the silence of the forest, sounds of faint thunder only getting louder. Soon the soft thunder turned to loud booming sounds that oddly repeated accompanied by crunching and breaking of the environment.
In the distance Olivia could see something of an outline of a very large being heading her way; weaving through the trees expertly. Vibrations were getting stronger. Fear and worry shot through her soul. So she hurriedly slammed the door, not moving the chair first, just letting it go through the door as she locked it.
Sitting in the dark she could still hear the beast moving outside of her tree now. Olivia was huddled and crossed her bed on the door side to lessen her chances of being spotted just in case.
Pluto watched what was going on with the thermals. A massive being was just outside of the tree, standing there looking at something in the distance. Then squatted messing with its bag. "Olivia it looks like a humanoid, and it might be setting up camp maybe"
"No, why, why is it doing that out of all of the spots it chose here!" Whisper yelled while she hugged herself.
Sitting there in the dark she could hear the thing move around her tree, then it just stopped. Pluto showed her the video feed on what the being was doing, the being appeared to be of humanoid shape just as Pluto said but just massive. It was staring at the chair that was currently forgotten by the maker, holding it carefully so as to not shatter the furniture.
Sounds of distant muffled thunder spooked Olivia, "It just speaks?" The being went back to the ground to place the chair into something, then continued to build its camp.
An hour passes by and Olivia is still trapped in the housing, unable to leave due to the ever looming presence of the massive being just outside. "I know that the staining process isn't done yet but at this point I'm willing to do anything to get out of here." Olivia grabs the cloth and the skeleton of the mechanism so she could finish her cloak to help her sneak around the giant.
04:07:58, mark one of the cloak is completed, putting it on she felt safer and warmer. "I should have time to gather some food and of course a break, without it noticing me immediately."
Pluto popped up, "and we can do some intel gathering on the being to help gauge if this species is safe or not." Olivia grimaced at the thought of holding a conversation with something that large.
She shook the thoughts out of her head and walked up to the door. "It looks to me that it is safe for now, and the being is in its tent-like structure." with the door unlocked she carefully opened it and imminently saw a huge thick rope around her tree that was just above her door. It led to the other tree that was directly across from her tree holding a material covering where the giant being is. She looks at it and decides to keep the door open just in case that it slips down so she won't be trapped outside, and would have a quick escape route.
She grabs the cloak's ends, spreads out her arms to trigger the mechanism and jumps. Olivia notices that she is indeed gliding but not quickly and begins to worry that she is going to get caught. "Olivia, there are some berry bushes nearby, and it'll be covered for your break if needed."
Olivia arrived at her destination and hung out there for a small moment before she gathered three berries and hopped back. "So far so good with not seeing the giant, but he is definitely moving around here. I can feel him stomping around." Right on que small vibrations could be felt, she quickly wrapped herself in the cloak and stayed by a tree that wasn't too far away from hers.
"It appears to be that the being is making a firepit for tonight, also the tent is more like a hammock," Pluto pulled up the scans of the 'building' so Olivia could see it in depth.
Olivia finally looked towards the being, taking in the sight that something that large could move so fast. "Pluto could you scan the giant? It's a bit hard to see its features from this angle."
Pluto nodded, showing a hologram version of the being:
"So it, no he, maybe, intelligent?" Olivia corrected herself not liking what might have to happen in the future. "Yes, it appears so, and you know what that means."
She just turned her head, "But the Union is now our enemy so can I like not?" Pluto looked like he was about to lecture her on how to be a nice person before they noticed the lack of shuffling.
I reblogged this last month, tagged it, and said “might as well see if it works.” I used this video as a reference to find all the forms that i needed (which is A LOT, especially if you’re a dependent) and sent them through the mail, not really allowing myself to hope.
dude.

Olivia wakes from her frozen sleep, her head foggy as her hands force open the pod. Her head spins, giving her vertigo forcing her body to collapse on itself. Her head pounding warning her of the vomit that swiftly bubbled up and out over the floor. As she sits there gulping air greedily she looks around her surroundings. Dark, she could see nothing the ship's AI didn't welcome her, everything was wrong. She fumbled through the darkness, feeling her way to the lockers just on the other side of the room.
She knocks her hand on the bench indicating that she was close to the lockers. Olivia gets over the bench and pries one of them open looking for a flashlight. Empty, empty, empty, not empty; she tries to remember where they normally kept the flashlights. She stumbled a bit but eventually her hands get to the tool. Olivia clicks it on. A beam of light flickers on showing that the ship has been abandoned long enough for rust and a thick layer of dust to cover everything; burn marks could be seen as well as panels, wires and broken metal scattered the area. She looks back at her pod and notices that tape covered the glass, the debris swept away from it.
She turned back to the locker, noticing that it was indeed hers, untouched. The rest of the lockers emptied out with no signs of her fellow crew members. Olivia puts the light on the bench and takes out her blue and black suit, the gold and white accents shining in the light. She notices that her name tag was taken off along with her medical badge, the UFT was scratched out, but the name of the ship remained; 'The Unrelenting'.
Olivia keeps the helmet off since the AI was no longer working and was no point anyway until she took inventory of what she had. She took the bag out and opened it, seeing that it was prepacked; not from her doing. She took the items out and organized the things around her. She also pulled out the rest of the equipment from the locker; leaving her with most of her medical items, flashlight, rope, tarp, tape, 3 large pieces of cloth, 2 sets of her clothing that looked like they seen better days, a phase blade, a knife, her bottle that cleans the water, loads of food, Jupiter's notebook with pencil and pen, and a small tapped up package that says To: Comet.
Olivia put everything into the bag except the box, bottle, both blades, and one of the food packs. She opens and quickly eats the food, barley noticing the awful taste. She takes the knife and carefully opens the box; it contained Jupiter's name tag and engineer tag, a note and 3 small chips one labeled AI, one labeled evidence, and the other Empty.
The note read this.

Dear Little Comet (Olivia Bennet),
I truly hope that you wake up safely. I packed up the things you will need and left you a gift. Remember all of those times you caught me tinkering with something; well, that AI chip is what I was working on for you. You'll soon see what it has on there. there's a couple of things I wish I had time and room to write, so I left my notebook with you. But here's what you need to know. After we fled from the quadrant, we were going to make a stop at one of our posts to fix our ship, but we were betrayed by the Union. I got you into the pod and tapped the glass to make it look like it was broken. The rest of us tried to hold the ship together while we escaped past the border. We then crashed into the planet you're on now because the AI took control and tried to kill us. Those of us that survived buried the dead and hid you just in case the Union came in to finish the rest of us. All of our tags are in my notebook, and by their count you died before we crashed. So be careful out here, and all I ask is that you keep living no matter how longs it's been.
Your Captain and Crew thank you and love you.
Your Best Friend/Big Brother- Jupiter Hinze
Ps say this when you boot up the AI "Delete all restricting code and commence directive: Little Comet"
Tears streamed down her face holding his tags close. She then took the notebook back out and placed the note and his tags in there with the rest, she found hers clearly more worn down in there as well. Shaking her head form the thoughts of death she looked at the chips and took the AI one and placed it in her medical cuff; the rest she placed back into the box and put the notebook and box into the bag. The knife sheathed on her left, and phase blade on the right. The bottle attached to the belt on the back, right under the bag unmoving. Olivia the takes the flashlight and attaches it to her shoulder still on, and the helmet opened to attach on the back of the neck then closing around her face completely. The sensors lights blink as she moves her eyes to them to set it up.
As it boots up an orangish orb takes up her vision. "Hello, I am AI U7274," Olivia croaked out barely audible words unsuccessfully speaking. Then an Orange keyboard hologram popped up, "Just type what you want to say." So, she types, "Delete all restricting code and commence directive: Little Comet." The AI flashed a bit, "Directive: Little Comet completed, please call me Pluto," the orb took shape of a Human Male in country attire. Olivia just gave a thumbs up not wanting to hurt her voice anymore without water nearby.
Pluto showed her a course out of where Olivia was standing, "From my scans there is no dangerous signs of life close by, water is roughly 100 meters, and sunrise should occur in 2 min. Also scans show that the days are 28 hours long 14-day, 14-nights; the gravity is also lighter which would cause you to be on the terms "Superhuman" here. The planet is also human compatible, but the environment seems to be considerably different."
Olivia wakes along the path shown sadly taking in the damage to her old home. When she comes to the end of the hallway, she sees that the ship was cut in half. Shaking her head she steps outside; the sun reveling the area around her. The flashlight turning off, and seeing the plants dwarf her. Grass stood taller than her not by much, the trees larger than a small space station. Birds of some kind could be heard singing their toon as they wake the forest around them.
She keeps following the path to the water, noticing that her movements were light, normal walking was harder than just jumping to get there. Which she ended up doing but she overshot her mark, so she just did small hops there. She took her bottle and scooped the water into it. The timer popped up for her to wait 30 sec, after waiting she started to drink trying to be slow but couldn't help herself to drink it fast, causing her a stomach ache.
"H-ey Plu-t-o ca-n -yo-u l-ead me to a go-od ba-se loca-tion?" Olivia's voice broke and cracked trying to speak.
Pluto popped back up and showed her a place in a tree that was 10 km away, "This location is near a water source and has great cover. You will need to put in work to make your new base in the tree." Olivia nodded and started to bound clumsily towards the tree; slowly getting better and higher as she traveled making the trip much quicker than if she just walked.
Olivia made it to the base of the tree, looking up she spotted a larger low branch that would serve well as the entry point. Jumping she just barely made it, "Pluto, can you instruct me on how to build this base that would be best?" Pluto just nodded and showed her in hologram form step by step. She unfortunately had to take frequent breaks, her body not used to this planet and the fact that she just got out of her frozen tomb.
The sun moved slow not even reaching its peak when she got the basic outline of her new home done. "Okay Pluto I need to do something besides carving wood right now, what are the materials I would need for the other things I need to build later on?"
He popped up making an 'X' with his hands "Not right now, there is a large bird that is nearby. I would advise to stay indoors until it moves on, but we can work on the 'Bedroom' for now" All she did was sigh and shake her head.
As the day started to cool down Olivia had the carving part done in the 'House' with the help of her phase blade and knife. The next thing on her list was to gather supplies for the rest of her creation, but she was sure that the bird had a vendetta against her; it had stayed in the area the whole time she worked. Olivia quickly realized that she missed her bathroom dearly. "That's it! I have things I need to do and the bathroom is one of them!" She dropped everything except her phase blade and marched outside.
"The bird currently is circling the tree; the approximate size of this creature is 4 foot tall and has the features of a bird of prey back on Earth." Pluto shows a radar and has the thing highlighted for her to see easier.
The bird began to descend rapidly, talons out and ready; Olivia readies her weapon in front of her. It makes a grab, she ducks while waving the blade, missing. The bird makes another pass, and Olivia does the same thing except she makes contact with the back talons causing the bird to screech in pain. Olivia winces at the loudness of the noise but still keeps at the ready, but the bird flies away with new wounds effectually leaving Olivia alone.
"Ha!! That's right! Olivia 1, wildlife 0!" She then jumps down to do her much needed 'break'; after her 'break' was over she asked, " Pluto what would I need to make a working bathroom?" He didn't show himself but instead showed an outhouse, "Unfortunately Olivia, you will have to make an outhouse with either a rather large and deep hole or a bucket. We don't need to possibly impact the wildlife so much so that beings can see it." All she could do was cry on the inside, Olivia 1, wildlife 1.
Olivia gathered as much materials as she could without much disturbance from any significant wildlife and took the bounty to her now home. She placed the moss on her shelf bed, then took one of the cloths form her bag and covered the "bedding" with it. She then used the others as blanket and pillow. Organizing the rest of the items she brought on the floor so she could work tomorrow on the kitchen and storage, then took another bag of food out to eat her dinner watching the slow setting star. As the night took over it seemed that the forest was more alive, weird calls and noises were heard as Olivia quickly closed the door.
She clicked the flashlight on so she could get to her hopefully comfortable bed with hast, "Hey, Pluto please wake me up if something is trying to get in if I'm asleep," Pluto popped up as a projection sitting on her bed, "Of course I will," she nodded, "Pluto...can-" the tree shook as something was climbing it, Olivia bundled herself in her blankets with her phase blade at the ready but not turned on. Then they heard the door opening; Pluto scanned the creature without showing Olivia. Whatever this creature was, was looking right at her; well, her heat signature.
Pluto typed her a message saying not to move at all, until he said so. All Olivia could do was try to keep from shaking; Pluto could see that the creature looked similar to a raccoon from Earth but was defiantly not related considering what it was doing. It stayed there for hours waiting for her to move but gave up after a while to find easier pickings.
Olivia stayed in that position the entire night waking up at every sound and dosing off after her body told her to sleep. Pluto scanned anything and everything that came even close to the horror house and will never relay or show what he has seen; and so, Pluto was the first AI in history to be scared of something.

a/n: my first contribution for @gtgotcha4gaza !! the prompt from @biggnansmol was "Discovery," so i decided to write something about an unnamed thief meeting an unnamed thief :)
warnings: implied mistreatment
It was something about “incriminating documents,” which was always the case for him, not that he minded it. As he carefully undid the window lock and stepped inside, he couldn’t help but wish for the next assignment to be a little bit more exciting.
His client was some politician — they all were — who wanted dirt on his opponent — they all did — and he was getting paid top dollar for a simple breaking-and-entering. He had mapped out the apartment in his head, and his planning from the day before had landed him in the office, right where he needed to be.
Everything after that was touch-and-go. Get into the computer, copy the files, get the hell out of dodge. At that point, he could have done it with his eyes closed. But as he turned the office light off and prepared to leave, he heard something that hadn’t been in the memo.
“C’mon, you stupid… ugh!”
His heart leapt to his throat. He was too good at his job to have fucked it up this late in the game. Every ounce of self-preservation begged him to leave, but there was also a slightly less reasonable voice in his head that told him that something else was off.
The sound was so quiet, yet seemed eerily close. He wasn’t thinking as he rolled his mask up, his ears primed for every possible source of the voice. It wasn’t until it spoke again that he was reaching for the closet door.
“Useless borrower… useless hook…”
Borrower…? With a frown, he opened the closet door, and the voice was choked silent with a gasp. He carefully pushed aside boxes and crates until the only thing that he could see was a cage. Everything that he had ever been trained for was thrown aside, and his career came to a grinding halt.
Inside the cage was a person. A tiny woman, to be exact, maybe as tall as his palm and staring up at him with eyes that looked like they were about to pop out of her skull. Everything about her was so human, from her messy black hair to the threadbare clothes that she was wearing. He didn’t realize it, but he was looking at her with as much shock as she was.
He was surprised that she was the one to break the silence, but she held herself together and swallowed the lump in her throat. “Y-you’re not supposed to be here,” she said quietly.
He blinked. “Well, neither are you,” he replied, not noticing the way she flinched when he spoke.
His eyes traveled down to the floor in front of the cage, where there was a twisted piece of wire. He reached forward and picked it up, oblivious to the way she stumbled back. “This yours? What’s it for?”
“N-nothing! I-I just…” She looked away, shaking even though it was warm. “Nothing. I wasn’t doing anything.”
Sharp eyes quickly took in the woman’s appearance: malnourished, barefoot, dirty. Her eyes were sunken as if she hadn't gotten any sleep. He glanced at the lock that had been placed upon the cage, and noticed a broken piece of wire stuck inside it.
With a touch more gentleness than he had before, he asked, “How’d you get in there, anyways?”
She took a sudden interest in her hands. “He thought I was a thief,” she said simply.
Against his better judgment, his face softened, and he leaned in closer, taking note of how she withered away. “If you’re gonna pick a lock,” he murmured, “you can’t just do it with one piece of a broken hanger. You gotta have a pick and a tension wrench.”
“Wow, so glad I thought of that,” she snarked back. He smiled.
“You’re in luck, though.” He reached into his pocket and retrieved his tools. “I just so happen to be prepared for the job.”
She watched in stunned silence as he worked, shuffling to the back of the cage when his movements rattled the bars. He didn’t notice her flinch, too busy celebrating when the lock became undone with a satisfying click.
He set it on the ground and leaned down, peering into the darkness of the cage, where she seemed to be trying to disappear into the shadows. “C’mon, don’t you want to get out of this thing?”
“Who the hell are you?” she called back, the tremble in her voice returning. He only grinned.
“I’m a thief.”
It took a little more convincing before she was willing to step across the threshold, and as he shuffled back to give her space, she was thrilled to finally be in the open air again. He had fully expected her to dart away as he placed all of the boxes back into the closet, but when he turned around, he was startled to see her still standing there.
She was looking up at him with less trepidation now, and she shared the puzzled look that he gave her. “What?” he asked, kneeling down. “Why are you still here?”
"Were you just going to leave me here?" she replied. "I'm not the one with all of those tools."
"Miss, I can't take you with me," he said, shaking his head. "I live a dangerous life."
"I'm sure it's not anymore dangerous than the life I live."
He wasn't sure if it was the confidence of her words or curiosity that prompted him to reach out without another word, his hand laid flat before her as if it was something he'd done many times before. She hesitated, but the feeling of the tiny woman boarding his palm felt shockingly comforting, and her weight in his hand felt like it belonged there. "Hold on tight," he said, and disappeared out of the window with a borrower on his shoulder.
The next morning, the politician would wake up and throw a fit, screaming something about a thief. His day would only get worse from there.
*drops this and disappears for another three months*
Been having fun with @reignwren and @funsizedcoffee, we put three tiny kids in the house of a Scottish man… only two of them actively steal from the crisps drawer. But then, they are attacked by the menace of the summer months… the six legged vampire

I can’t believe that I have to make another post about this but let me make it clear.
Do NOT dm me about anything that has to deal with porn.
I don’t like it and frankly I’m sick of getting messages, I will report and I will block you if you do text me about “joining a link”.
I am on here to enjoy what other people create . Whether it be writing, drawing, their OC’s, ideas, etc. NOT for inappropriate messages and anything to do with sex.
I don’t care if you like doing that stuff you do you boo, but if people (like myself) ask to be left out of the whole porn/sex stuff, respect that.
“Your art isn’t valued by the number of notes you get” okay but. If you spent 6 hours baking a cake for a party, but no one at the party eats your cake, it’s still disappointing.
Responses are very nice. I like reading over them. They make me feel fuzzy. Of course, likes and reblogs are also very appreciated, but responses make me feel a special kinda fuzzy.
That’s the thing about the “oh, create for yourself, don’t worry about other people!” attitude (that almost exclusively comes from non-artists and people who have tons of followers and routinely get tons of validation for SOME reason) that doesn’t quite work. I guarantee you, most of us already ARE creating for ourselves above all-
But we POST our creations for human connection, and that’s not a bad thing.
I’m not sure when we all got to the point where wanting validation for something you worked hard at is seen as a bad thing. That you’re pathetic for wanting.
If you think that way it’s not only toxic as hell it’s killing creators.
Creating isn’t easy. When there’s nobody to look at your work and say, “You did a good job. This was hard.” The drive and ambition disappears, then so does the work.
