Also, I hate, hate, hate that so many uninformed idiots just think "hur dur, '70s Elvis was fat." The "Fat Elvis" trope needs to die a lonely death. This man is looking like a snack, stop it.

One thing I can’t stop thinking about is that after his mama passed away he felt incredibly lonely and he spend the rest of his life searching for the person that would love him like his mama did, that would love him of who he really was. All Elvis wanted was for someone to truly love him.

January 8, 1935:

At 306 Old Saltillo Road in East Tupelo, Mississippi, in the house that Vernon had built with the help of his father and brother, Gladys Presley, attended by Dr. William R. Hunt, gave birth to twin boys. The first, Jesse Garon, was delivered stillborn at 4 am and would be buried the nest day in an unmarked grave in the Priceville Cemetery, near Tupelo. The second, named Elvis Aron Presley, was born at 4:35 am.
