Biography of a Viking
Annelisse Blomgren was an average female of 995 a.d - 1013. She grew up in a Viking village, and became a shield maiden until she died from a plague that ran rampage through the villages during that time and fell victim to it. She died a slow, painful death.
Her biological parents died in a Viking battle, and their best friend Elijah Mikaelson raised her from a very young age. She didn't know any of the wiser that Elijah wasn't her real father and doesn't know to this day.
Fast forward to today, Annelissa isn't sure how to feel about being alive again. She found peace and solace on the other side even though she had to wait a thousand years to see her father Elijah again. This new world is confusing, but she does enjoy most of the twenty first century accommodations. She is very innocent compared to women of this era, but she did grow up being a shield maiden and she has no problem kicking anyone's ass. She might struggle in the beginning but she will always find her way no matter how conflicted or confused she might become.
Annelisse was walking around Mystic Falls, a home that wasn't her home anymore. It was a strange and different place. She watched as strangers passed her by, clothes and faces that were unlike from the times she lived. This new world was more delicate but louder than the one she once loved. She couldn't hear the sound of nature but the sounds of machines. It scared her in the begenning, the loud pieces of metal that rushed down the roads that carried people around from place to place, the large buildings and lights. But since she had been back it was slowly growing on her by each passing hour, but she was still confused. What is this place and how is she back to being alive? She had so many questions including would she see her family again. If she is back, the ones she once loved must be back as well?
