EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL. ACTUALLY
What if this year I only consumed gifts: the cheese my neighbour brought around when she heard I had been sad; the wine our friend bought because the colour made her think of us; the olive oil my colleague thought could go well with the bread my mother sent in the post; the guava pastels lovingly sent in a care package from the other side of the world; the jam made by my godfather from garden abundance last summer; the healing broth soup j simmers on the stove for hours; and so on

Because we are in one of the greatest evolutionary shifts on the planet, your relationship with nature is more important than ever. Because the plant kingdom, mineral people, animal kingdom, fungi, water, etc are clear and unbiased and can help guide you to your next step. Talk to the birds. Give offerings to trees. Ask for help from the sun. Be kind to animals that cross your path. If you are not sure of the next step to take, go into nature and simply do nothing but feel. —India Ame’ye
