What you should always do for your teenietot/regressor!
-Remind them you love them a lot.
-Make sure they know you are not uncomfortable with their age regression, actually, show you like it! It makes the teenies very happy.
-Know what they like. Does your teenie like dinos? Tell him tonight is movie night dino themed!
-Even the food needs to look childish! Don’t forget about it!
-Call them petnames that make them feel small!
-Cuddles are never enough!!
-Give them cute rules! Like “don’t ever forget you are beautiful” “anytime you feel sad, talk to me”. It’s good to know that you care!
-Make plans for when they are regressed, like taking them to a playground etc!
-Don’t ever say that age regression is something weird or not normal!
-Does your teenie like bottles? Hold it for them while they drink!
-Stuffed animals are also never enough.
-If they like, help them to take a bath! And play with them while it! A lot of teenies like to play while bath time! It’s really fun!
-If they go to school, help them with their homework! It’s common for them to be regressed when they need to do big stuff, so your help would be really good!
-Give them kisses on their nose, forehead and cheeks! It’s the best place ever for kisses!
-Ask them to do things for you while they are teenie. Like coloring for you!
-Ask them to show you their toys and talk about them!
-Don’t ever forget that: Their stuffed animals are real! So always talk to them too! Or say things like “me and (name of the plush) are so proud of you!”.
-Let them sit on your lap, even ask them to sit there! It’s really comforting.
-Please please please don’t forget that they are very teenie, so don’t act like they are the same as when they are not regressed, interact with them like you interact with a child. No big talk, no serious stuff! Only fun!
-When they are playing, ask if you can play too! A lot of teenies are scared of asking you to do it, so make the first move!
-Use a soft voice!! Don’t be rude!! Be always very caring and protective! They like to feel protected and safe.
-Watch their favorite show while teenie with them!
-Memorize the name of their stuffed animals!
-Explain things to them and also answer all their questions! Teenies are usually really curious!
-Don’t act like it’s nothing when they get excited about something, it’s very important for them knowing you don’t think they are boring just because they are small.
-Give them kisses when they do something good! Or stickers!
-Make cute activities! Like… When you buy something for them, hide it and ask them to find! You can also put tracks.
-If they do something bad, don’t yell. Explain to them why they are wrong!
-Remind them to do things! If they need to take a medicine, remind them. Remind them they need to take a bath. Remind them they need to do their homework.
-Some teenies like when you say “you are too little for that”.
