Our story draws inspiration from Biblical and Greek Mythologies. Taking these elements, the story begins in 2003, right after Heaven was sieged by Hell, beginning the Second Holy War. Meanwhile, on Earth, the quiet rustlings of a rebellion are taking hold.
Tucked away, far from the threshes of bloodshed, shoved together in a rincky-dincky 1963 blue Beetle, are Hiram and Adora, singing trashy radio songs and gallivanting across the desert.

New Dedy6 Lore Dump, In Lore Historic Art Analysis version !!!
Under the cut, this is still a W.I.P, I'll Repost with the final version whenever it gets finished
‼️(CW for decapitated head + gorey language/imagery + fictional war discussion)‼️
"The Death of War" made Circa 12 A.W. (After War), is a portrait depicting a young Telia, The Reaper, holding the decapitated head of Rakkus, The God of War, after presumably a long battle.
[Catch Up : Rakkus became corrupted by his following to cause the war. They misconstrued his domain from honorable battle and discipline, into senseless violence. The new domain quickly got out of hand, Rakkus killed the God of Peace, and many others came down after. Telia was made by The Creator and sent down in record time to kill Rakkus's army and Rakkus himself, which she was never able to do. Instead, the God of Death got to him first and sealed his corrupted form in a vessel for the next two centuries.]
Let's begin with the most obvious thing in the portrait; All of the blood on the ground, Telias feet, and her Scythe. The blood on the Scythe is Rakkus's own blood, dripping down on both their heads. The blood still spilling out of Rakkus's severed neck is all the blood of Mortals and gods alike he's killed, nearly spreading from one side of the canvas to the other. The blood on Telias feet represents the seas of lost souls and physical bodies she's had to wade through in her purpose to end the war.
The second most obvious thing is how Rakkus is portrayed (hair not included and is irrelevant to the analysis). The natural end to a God's life is to become tribute to Vulcan, the God of Extinction, via the biggest volcano on the planets continent. Once dead in the volcano, God's turn to meteorite, and will be melted down into a special Magma that runs through the world, powering the life force of the planet and permanently removing any trace of that God's domain from the world. During the war, Rakkus did not offer the Gods he killed as tribute, instead he killed them himself, leaving giant statues of dead Gods all over the continent.
In this painting, he's not turned to meteorite, in fact he looks awfully mortal, and sports a neck with several deep cuts, showing several determined attempts on his life from Telia, which she eventually succeeded on. This depiction of a God, known (or in this point in time, thought,) to be dead, is incredibly disrespectful. It's withholding them from joining their peers in after death, even implying they are not deserving to join them or simply not in the same rank as their Godly counterparts. Rakkus is pulled down from his Godly right and made to look more animalistic in comparison, saying he's no more than the mortals he commanded in battle.
At the same time his eyes are looking directly at us, the viewer, with a deathly glare, almost warning us that we're next on his list. Though, his silent threat is watered down by Telia holding him by the horn like a child holding a stuffed toy.
Telia is shown with her signature serious expression, unphased from the battle that just happened. In fact her expression and demeanor in the painting almost imply she has no significant feelings about the encounter at all, seemingly looking out for her next assingment. The side of her head is shaved, and her name is carved into her temple. We've since learned she did this after encountering the meteorite bodies of Gods, naturally, unable to identify them since she had arrived to the planet so recently. Her facial wings are open; today that is seen as an omen of death, originating from her early years where she always had them open as she killed off Rakkus's army (Though today its assumed they were open just so she could see). Both her and Rakkus have blood dripped off the Scythe onto the right sides of their faces.
A few drops of blood have pooled off her scythe and fallen onto the carving, being that Telia herself is made of meteorite, this may symbolize the trauma she's gained from the war; Rakkus's blood on her name showing that he is a core part of her development as a God, and the reason for her creation at all, implying they are interlinked despite being enemies since before Telia had a physical body, the blood being on the same side of both their faces could support thus. A telling of who will be forgotten and tossed aside when they die and who will be remembered is another possibility, especially since Telia has her name carved into her temple and Rakkus does not.
Lastly, the composition of Telia and her Scythe. The Scythe was curiously sent down with her egg, another unique aspect of her creation.
It's clearly oversized for her, as it was in this point in time. She's since grown into it, but in this illustration she's holding it at an angle that seems like she's trying to keep the heavy weapon straight using its own weight. She keeps it close and controlled, not allowing it to be used by anyone else. The blade itself, bloody and dripping, looms over the young Telia, still in the clothes she was sent down with. A heavy and sometimes violent responsibility is overhead now, and will continue to be present as she matures.

Thank you for reading this far !! I can't wait to post the completed version of this, I'm hoping to make it much more painterly compared to my graphic/lined work, as inspired by these paintings!
An illustration i did for ChromaCorps 2024, an annual concept design competition held every summer! 30 days, 30 prompts, 24 hours to do each one. This was day 6. I think I made this in about 6-8 hours last year. It's a giant space knight with a black hole head and a broken constellation for a sword.
