How is your art so good? How did you learn? Sorry if this is an anoying question

This isn’t annoying don’t worry, and tysm for the compliment !! (This will be a big yap sesh…)

1. I started off by referencing artists I liked/looked up too. My number one advice is to use references !!! They’re not cheating at all !!!

2. Find out what you like to draw. An example from me is I like to draw characters, so I learned some basic anatomy. Some people want to draw animals, furries, backgrounds, creatures etc. Find out what makes you happy to draw !

3. Keep drawing (if you can/have time). I had a lot of free time that I put into drawing which happened to naturally improve over the years. It can be from a simple doodle to a full piece

4. Lastly, please don’t be so hard on yourself ^_^ Everyone starts somewhere and I’ve had plenty of moments where my art looked really bad, but I decided to keep going because it’s what I enjoyed doing. Take breaks and have fun what you create !!
