The only thing differentiating them is that Vriska does divisive things in the actual plot of the story, whereas Jax mostly has panic attacks and then implodes. For Jax to REALLY be Vriska, she should have done something awful to completely alter the course of the story, which never really happens. But, who can truly come close to the power a Vriska, except for Vriska herself?
youre missing a big thing: both vriska and jax hurt people because they believe that they are bound to their chosen roles
vriska does everything because she thinks its her destiny and its what her role in the story is, jax does her shit because she believes shes the "funny one" and thats all she is

the Gamzee plush just released today and for the past few hours I've been struggling to get pass checkout that it's starting to border on insanity's definition. I've been trying to pay with a gift card that costed me $106 because these gift cards work like a credit card (or get identified as such) when it comes to online shopping (usually for digital products but also supposed to work for physical when I asked the store worker) (in the case of the gift card, it was one that these platforms identified as a Mastercard). the Makeship site only allows credit cards so for the past few hours I've been pressing pay on the site at checkout with a very clearly more-than-likely invalid payment method in hopes it would work because I spent $106 dollars on that gift card earlier today to buy a plush from a site that's in USD to make sure I have enough for USD-CAD conversion rates. and when I was buying that gift card, my bank card declined twice (even when I was sure there was enough on it to buy said gift card) and I didn't have cash on me so I had to use a family members bank card. I don't want to do that again just so I could buy a plush that'd cost me over $60 dollars to completely pay for it. Additionally, I feel not-that-smart for not checking what payment methods the site allowed beforehand

made some updates to my strawpage again
thinking of the time where my school had a late start day but I didn't know and came at the time I usually would so one of the ways I was passing the time was walking the perimeter of the school and one of the songs that was playing was this shit
