fall in love with someone who wants you, who waits for you. who understands you even in the madness, someone who helps you, and guides you, someone who is your support, and your hope. fall in love with someone who talks with you after a fight. fall in love with someone who misses you and wants to be with you. do not fall in love only with a body or a face or with the idea of being in love
I heard something the other day that I had never really thought about before. Someone mentioned to me that whenever you catch yourself missing someone who left your life, you should remind yourself that them not being part of your present is a consistent choice they make every day. They wake up and decide to maintain the silence. They’re indifferent as to whether the space between you gets larger. And that in itself is pretty powerful closure.
i think it’s so important to realise that you can love someone but accept that they aren’t good for you / your mental health. i think it’s important that we can acknowledge that maybe we won’t get over them, not for a long time at least, but that we’re better off without them in the long-run. i think the most important thing is to eventually understand that no matter how much you love, care and respect someone, it won’t make them love, care and respect you back. please, if there is someone in your life that doesn’t make you feel loved, wanted or cared-for, leave them. i know it’s easier said than done, but nothing and nobody is worth more than your own happiness. put yourself first for once. all that matters is that YOU are happy.
Even the idea that there is a video where an American man rape a kid makes me sick. Ashton Kutcher is doing a great job by using his power and privilege to raise awareness about human trafficking. Every parent dreams of the bright, happy and SAFE future to his/her child. This guy tries to change this country, this world into a better one. This Hollywood celebrity woke up and tried to draw the government’s attention to this very crucial problem of child trafficking.
Salute.
It’s ironic.
When I worked in fast food for minimum wage, they would yell at us and lecture us about “stealing” fries and burgers (while we had to throw out TONS of food every day) as though the giant billion-dollar corporations of McDonald’s and Sonic couldn’t afford to give their employees something to eat (while not even paying us a living wage).
Now I work at an upscale restaurant (it’s fancy, like celebrities eat there fairly often) and not only do I make WAY better money but they give us 2 free meals a day (eaten on the clock) and they’re GOOD. Today I got baked cod, spring rolls, rice pilaf, stir fry, and mashed potatoes and eggplant. Oh, and free espresso and juice. From this restaurant owned by a local man who is in no way a billionaire.
Obviously money is not the issue, valuing your employees as people is.
This needs all of the reblogs. All of them.

Classic
do you ever get so annoyed at everything that you start to get pissed off at even little things like a spoon clinking against a bowl or sounds of people talking
I think it’s called sensory overload. It’s really common in people with anxiety
it can also be a result of sleep deprivation, stress, or ever dehydration !!
thanks i thought i was just a bitch

I love that feeling of like… having alone time but also with someone? You know when you’re in the same room, sitting together on the sofa or the bed, quietly and separately doing your own things. Maybe leaning against each other or softly touching. Sometimes you don’t actually wanna talk but you’re still enjoying the silent presence of that person. There’s a sense of quiet, peaceful comfort.
My life got better when I accepted that sometimes shit just doesn’t work out. You aren’t always going to get the job, the partner, the class, the internship or whatever else you care about. Sometimes shit hits the fan and you have to be okay with that. Every time your life falls to pieces you can’t hit the floor, you gotta get your shit together, let out a little cry and keep going. Like just bc shit doesn’t work out does not mean life is going terribly, it just means it wasn’t meant to be at this time and that’s A o fucking kay.

the fact that there’s only about 5000 people who’ve reblogged this scares me. That means that less that 5000 people know where these come from.
