Reeeaallly busy this week so I'm busting out the alchohol Markers for a quick fanart of Faputa from Made In Abyss.
I recently completed the game Valkyrie Saga so I'm doing fanart of the main character Roll to commemorate the occasion. It's a very peculiar game, very open and I'm not sure I got to the end in the precise way that was intended but I found the experience gratifying and would recommend if you want something a little off the beaten path.
This image is actually based of in a in game screenshot I took, and while I fudged some of the landmarks for framing it's still recognisable. Try and find where this is in game if you're that way inclined.
Continuing my momentum with another character design for Dynamo Dodgeball Academy (my Dodgeball Based JRPG I'm working on). This is Marichka a mid game boss and later recruitable party member.
Which of these colour schemes do you like the most?
Back on designing characters for Dynamo Dodgeball Academy (The Dodgeball Based JRPG I'm working on). This here is Helena who has a bunch of abilities based around the Medusa Stare she keeps under all that hair. She's also currently planned to be the party member you get for free near the start on account of her being Kyra's (The main character) roommate.
Which colour scheme do you like the most?
Fanart of Cagliostro and Ladiva/Fastiva from Granblue Fantasy.
I will admit that I was feeling pretty low energy these past two weeks so ended up going with more simplified lighting for this image for time. I think it turned out pretty good though. Probably could have done a more interactive pose than this if I was feeling more up to it.
Fanart of Rouka Numachi my absolute favourite character from the Monogatari Series, noteable for turning up in Hanamonogatari and nowhere else. I need to pick this series back up again, I ran out of steam in Owarimonogatari a few years back but I still rate the series highly.
I'm experimenting a bit with the kind of brushes I'm using to shade hair here, I like how it worked on the fur but we'll see how I feel about the hair itself in a few days.
Fanart of Circus Baby one of my favourite fnafamatronics. In this piece I wanted to play around with Circus Baby's size, which we don't see a lot of in game. For context she's 7 foot 2 making her about 2 inches taller (and around 200 pounds heavier) than Zangief from street fighter, she would be alarmingly intimidating up close in person.
Part of my fondness for Circus Baby probably does stem from the fact I was entirely fooled by her in game. I am a very trusting person I guess. That sense of betrayal is an emotion that not a lot of art has evoked in me and I appreciate that, makes her stick in my mind.
Fanart of Olympia from Rivals of Aether 2.
I've had a busy past few weeks so I'm breaking from character design stuff to bust out the alchohol markers and draw my main from the fighting game I've been enjoying.
Continuing my momentum with another character design for Dynamo Dodgeball Academy (my Dodgeball Based JRPG I'm working on). This is Marichka a mid game boss and later recruitable party member.
Which of these colour schemes do you like the most?
Been a while but development on Dynamo Dodgeball Academy (my dodgeball based JRPG I'm developing in Godot) continues. Here's Vicki, the music themed party member who's abilities are mostly screaming real loud.
Which potential colour scheme do you like the most?
After feedback I ended up going with this colour scheme combining the hues of D with the values of E (plus some futzing). I feel the green gives her more personality than the plain black but I realised the red overlapped too much with some of the other designs.

So my friends have been playing this game called "Pit of Goblin" lately (very fun, would reccomend) and so I've ended up doing fanart of one of the vendors named "Big Brunna".
Some artistic liberties may have been taken, the game has less than photorealistic artstyle. This did end up way, waaay outside the remit of the sort of stuff I usually draw.
Given that my current Lily Lovebraids fixation is holding strong I decided that a MTG Alter of her was in order. First time doing a creature too as I have perhaps overly high standards for what an appropriate flavour match is. I could even leave the flavour text, which is handy.
Her skin tone ended up a little bit redder than I intended but we can just attribute it to the lighting shall we?
If Lily ends up coming back in a later chapter I may do a Braids Arisen Nightmare version. Though I'll need her to look credibly like a creature type:nightmare for that. balls in Mob's court on that one.
Fanart of Lily Lovebraids from Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 coming to the realisation that maybe noone will turn up to today's Tea Party either.
That audio recording where her mind finally breaks and she becomes Lily just rings as so sad to me because you can tell she's so excited to have Tea Parties with all the other toys but we, the audience, know that is never ever going to happen. Nicole Tompkins overall did such a great job with her voice, Lily's laugh has such an edge of "I'm laughing so I don't start crying" to it that really sells the character for me.
Do you think Lily knows that she was never friends with the other Toys? When she initially loses her mind she already refers to the other Toys as her friends so does she maybe think that they used to be friends at some point in the past? Something to think about.
Fanart of Aika from Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl/IDWTBAMG (did it drop the Pretty Please at some point?). The episode 2 animatic recently came out and while I really enjoyed the episode 1 animatic I'm also aware that they announced the series getting fully animated so I'm debating if I should wait. In the meantime I made fanart.
Sadly I'm away from home and Tumblr doesn't agree with my internet speeds so I had to compress the image a *wee* bit. Hopefully it's not too noticeable.
Fanart of Tao from the game Gunfire Reborn, which I've been playing with my friends lately (both the game and the character therein). It's a very solid Co-Op experience, which we've had some trouble finding in the past.
Funny story, I've actually had a lot of stuff go on that made me *super stressed* and this was me pivoting off of a much more complex fanart that I didn't have the mental energy to do. Nontheless I'd been meaning to draw Tao for a while and it was nice to get back into the groove of my more complex shading style. Overall I think it worked out.
Art of Jason, an optional party member from the dodgeball based JRPG I'm working on (Dynamo Dodgeball Academy). He's our resident fire powers haver (which you need in any group of super powered individuals) so I wasn't able to come up with as many colour palettes as I was for Kyra but do tell me your favourite.
