The Sabbath - CD Brooks

This is a wonderful video in which CD Brooks deals with the topic of the Sabbath. He proves from the bible that Saturday is still the true Sabbath and God expects all his children to keep it.

Keeping the Sabbath holy is not legalism when it is an expression of love for God. It is the same way people expect Christians not to steal etc. It is just a question of loving God and you cannot love God and ignore His commandments.

CD Brooks who passed away on June 5 2016 was once the speaker and director of Brealth of Life Telecast Ministries.  He preached the gospel to people all over the world.

CD Brooks Dies

Veteran Adventist preacher CD Brooks passed away on 5th June 2016 after a battle with cancer. He is one of the foremost Adventist evangelists who led thousands to the Lord.

He preached in countries all over the world and his sermons will continue to spread the gospel. 

He will be remembered as a preacher who preached it straight. He did not beat about the bush when preaching and people loved him a lot for that.

3ABN History

3ABN or Three Angels Broadcasting Network started broadcasting in 1986 two years after the founder, Danny Shelton, then a carpenter felt impressed to start a television station. His goal was to spread the three angel’s message in Revelation 14 as understood by the Seventh day Adventist Church.

3ABN has now grown to cover the whole through satellite broadcasting. It also broadcasts its programs through other television networks on cable etc. It has now various channels such as 3ABN Latino, 3ABN Russian, 3ABN Francais, 3ABN kids etc.

This hymn came about from an incident at one of Dwight L Moody's revival meetings in 1887. A young man who had just given his life to the Lord Jesus Christ was reportedly heard saying, 'I am not quite sure - I am going to trust and obey.' The music director of the Moody Bible Institute, Professor Towner, was present at the meeting when these words were uttered. Based on these words, Professor Towner with help of John Sammis, who developed the lyrics , composed the music to this hymn Trust and Obey or When we walk with the Lord. Pastor Stephen Bohr preaching a sermon titled, That Woman Jezebel. It is a sermon that draws parallels between, Jezebel, the gentile wife of King Ahab and the Christian church.
