My name is Allison Mayfair-Richards, though most people call me Ally. I run a restaurant, I have a family, and I know how to play the role people expect of me. I've spent years learning how to keep my voice steady, even when everything underneath feels unstable.

I've been involved in my community for a long time now. What we're doing here may look radical to some, but it comes from a very real place of frustration.

But I was told no, although as a reporter... you know, usually we test limits and see if there's a possibility for a 'yes' somewhere, but Ally was quite clear when she said no multiple times. Well, you know. I wouldn't really care too much. I wrote a book about my time there and about what happened. I wanted the scoop on bloody-face at the time, and my snooping around landed me in an insane asylum. I survived, there's a lot I'd do for a good story.
