When I took my test I was told specifically, “if you have to think about it because the question is poorly written, just choose the autistic option. If you think to yourself ‘I don’t have a problem with that, I have a system to help’ just choose the answer that implies you have a problem.”

Even then, I refused to admit some things because I’d internalized my masks so hard that I didn’t realize I was doing those things consciously rather than instinctively.
