Ulondil's Hideout (Black Vine Villa)
Ulondil at his retreat in Malabal Tor
Happy (belated) Simblreen from Arondil!
Hey, TESblr? Am I losing my mind, or is there no canonical reference to the Indoril helmet being specifically based on Nerevar's appearance? According to UESP, it comes from a metatextual Kirkbride post
Please tell me I'm wrong
I bring this up because St. Olms is the earliest guy in the lore with fully canonical Ordinator-mohawk-face appearance, on his shrines and banners, and he lived around the same time as Nerevar
theres a couple but i dont remember where they all are. a big one though is there is a bust explicitly of nerevar from eso and it actually depicts an ordinator helm/mask and not his face without one. a lot of it is just alluded to or was said outright by kirkbride though with nothing else contradicting it. the mask and mohawk is never said to represent st olms himself, just that he founded the ordinators essentially
This is fascinating to me because it also possibly presents a metatextual shift in the writing team over time! I am still playing through, but after scouring the internet I feel somewhat confident saying this: in Morrowind there's no reference connecting it, which means there was only the bonewalker banner as a depiction of Nerevar! Further supporting this is the idea that the creative team would want to leave Nerevar blank as someone the player could project onto.
This also smacked me in the face reading UESP:
He's . . . Not the patron saint of the house that he joined? So who is?
Fucking Olms??? Again???
Also in ESO there's a wonderful worldbuilding flavor text about Ordinators putting on their armor and blessing it under all the saints with specific attention paid to Nerevar, including pressing their forehead to the forehead of the mask, and it's all about how personal appearance also relates back to the image of the Temple, and it would be a perfect time to discuss taking on the appearance of Nerevar himself . . . but it doesn't!
That bust of Nerevar is from the end of the first era and looking at the ears, yes, it is very clearly a helmet, not a stylized face. So the only in-universe depiction by a firsthand witness of Nerevar is Sotha Sil's hologram, which is . . . Fine. It's fine. It looks like an Altmer it is NOT fine- it's fine. (Someone more worked up about this than I am could write an essay about Seht's memory being faulty, or the plani-whatsit not being technically accurate, as Sil has his current godly outfit when interacting with Nerevar)
Am I losing my mind?
u guys 10,000% know more than me about this for SURE, but if I was to guess, I’d say that nerevar’s “look” is a mix between the ordinator mask and how he’s depicted in the drawing of foul murder
Cause I think if you sort of blend how he’s depicted here with the mask you arrive at how he’s been portrayed over time. BUT tbh what’s really cool is that it truly is just a composite image created by people repeating features and aspects that they liked based on small amounts of info, and that is genuinely cool! artists take crumbs left by game studio, artists bake bread, and then the game studio ends up partaking in the bread made from the crumbs they left 20 years ago lmao
I know ESO is apocryphal, but this states it outright.
On the other hand, the concept art matches, as @iamnotshazam said, St. Olms to the Ordinators and Nerevar to the Redoran Guard - which further muddles things.

Those who ever traveled to Cyrodiil and found themselves in need of unusual goods might be familiar with this figure.
People think of Khajiit as thieves and pickpockets, while Vasha is a purveyor of rare merchandise - one may also call it... one of a kind.
This one was a thief once, yes, but in that line of work a striking face won't get you far.
People also claim that Vasha's mother mated with a sabrecat, a rumour he will encourage with every occasion.
Though his adventuring years are behind him, he keeps himself nimble and would gladly share his mastery of Acrobatics and Speechcraft.
The traveler, curious, may wander: "Why has wealth eluded him?". Ah, for the pleasures of life are abundant for one who has the coin, and Vasha delights in them all.
Whether it's the sugar you seek, a strong drink, companionship or Vasha himself, you will find them at the Horn of Plenty in Skingrad, an establishment practicing some trades that are illicit in Cydrodiil.
Vasha doesn't own it, but intends to, as soon as he scrounges up enough profits. For now, as their most loyal patron, he claims his own table in the basement, where his trade contacts can be sure to reach him.
Left this household to their own devices and returned to them telling ghost stories in front of the Ald'ruhn Mages' Guild.
They have to know it's Spooktober.
P.S. They're not flashlights, they're Dwemer Tubes of Light (20pts on Target).

This is a Skyrim conversion, extracted from the mage apprentice robes. Works best over bulkier clothing.
I classified it as "right garter" because I wanted it to be layerable and - who even uses that category?

Hi! Not sure if I can be helped but wanted to ask how can I extract and export the default soundtrack from world adventures France world. So like exactly like how France has its French music playin when you enter the world. How can I export that into a new custom world? Is it a specific file in S3PE that I can export from? Or? Hope you can help! Thank you!
Hi!
I have no idea about sound tracks, can anyone else help?
@mspoodle1 @greenplumbboblover
The soundtrack is in the package:
"[installation dir]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 World Adventures\GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuildep1.package"
Open it in S3PE. The resources you are looking for have the _AUD tag and the type 0x01EEF63A (SNS). [Here] is a tutorial on how to decode them.
At a glance, I believe the one you are looking for is named "flyby_france01". I don't know how to import it into a World, though.
