heyyyy im making a pinned post as that is a feature and seems good to keep info all in one place esp for ppl on mobile
❤️ DO NOT USE MY ART WITHOUT CREDIT ❤️
❤️im brave!! or rua works if u want to but brave is by far the most popular name i go by. he/him pronouns
❤️art commissions/art trades are NOT on the table rn sadly. i used to offer commissions and did art trades with friends but for the most part im really busy with work/health conditions. if i have a bit of free time i may change this or make a few exceptions on a case by case basis depending on my schedule. for the most part tho i just want my art to be a stress relief activity
❤️art requests i do take from time to time now, but there is no guaranty i will take it. please do not spam requests hoping i’ll do it and please do not get mad if i don’t do it. they’re requests for a reason. if i am particularly inspired i’ll be happy to get around to it if life lets me
❤️technically multifandom blog i would say, mostly i have been focused on the elder scrolls series lately. you will probably see me rb stuff from like, a bunch of series. if this changes i’ll prob edit this post LMAO (i do not control the special interest)
❤️not just an art blog but also personal. my art can be found in my #my art tag. wips can sometimes be found scattered on my twitter if they arent on here. and writing that i publish can be found on my ao3 (though i have like a million wips that dont get published and be warned much of my ao3 is rated E and not for everyone)
❤️ been doing a lot of oc posting so i can do a run down of them currently for anyone that wants to follow along/know the lore:
/// OCS ///
(under cut)
🌟 Eyja: skyrim oc, nord dragonborn, she/her. past life incarnation was konahrik, alduin’s head priest, murdered by miraak. uses a bow and magic primarily. story can be found here
🌟 Senna: skyrim oc, nord dragonborn, she/her. proud two handed weapon user and leader of the companions. fought and lost to the world eater who took her back to his den and make her his partner. proof prophecy can be a complicated thing. story can be found here.
🌟 Baldur: skyrim oc, nord dragonborn, he/him. grew up on the streets stealing to survive, and certified trans of gender. fought and lost to the world eater who decided to force baldur to be his champion. helps him take over skyrim. story not yet published but will prob contain a lot of mentions of transphobia as a cw :(
🌟 Ansa: skyrim oc, nord dragonborn, she/her. orphaned at a young age, and just a weird, feral child. learned to steal, and ended up joining the thieves guild. killed mercer and turned the guild over to karliah and is helping rebuild it when she finds a weird rock that turns out to be a dragon egg. story not yet published
🌟 Ahkrinaak: general elder scrolls oc, he/him/any pronouns. he is based off me as a sort of self insert/persona character purely for comedy, not a serious au. dragon/god who was corrupted in the war with lorkhan/shor and became more so an agent of lorkhan. he spends most of his time pretending to be a mortal and causing problems. he’s just sillay. looks like a falmer/snow elf and nord hybrid making pretty much everyone just in general uncomfortable. dragons dont have gender he just likes tits. divorced with alduin
🌟 Lyre: not a skyrim oc (yet) but my beloved dnd character i have made a million aus for, including one that has turned into a full on novel lmao. will update everyone when i start uploading the novel (its not gonna be too serious just a fun lil webnovel that is pg rate) and you can see me post illustrations for. depending on the AU uses either he/him or she/her. i just think theyre neat
🌟 Anthial: nerevarine bosmer, tired, angry, nb spellsword. he/them pronouns. just wants to cover their entire body until you cant tell what gender they are. vivec never got them the drink he owed them. was convinced as nerevar that voryn never liked them back all that much. had an open marriage with almalexia. this incarnation was emotionless and lacked a moral compass due to the betrayal in their past life.
🌟 Steren: nerevarine, technically. not actually the reincarnation of nerevar, but the reincarnation of nerevar’s son. nerevar never reincarnated bc he was too busy haunting his descendants, too upset to move on. steren has a couple of aus but mostly its him with vivienne the dragonborn who belongs to @mulberrycafe. calls voryn “ata” and nerevar “dad” because he technically grew up in cyrodiil but remembers his first lifetime in bits and pieces where voryn raised him for the first few years.
feel free to send asks abt my ocs i love answering them
As the Arebennian from the Masque of the Unfading Revel. Vyrthiel wears an indulgent, lavish facade to embody She Who Thirsts, and unfolds endless revels beneath the twilight.
Almost every single time I have experienced the dangerous, scary, "am I walking away from this?" kind of ableism, it's been some dickhead who's decided to take it upon himself to act like Batman. They usually use the excuse of people who are disabled like me being inherently violent, particularly to people who are less able to kick the shit out of a stranger like women and children.
Sometimes this is pretty mild. I once had a dude call security over at a Woolworths because I was pacing around "looking agitated." Security bloke solved the situation by hanging around near me. Y'know, "I'll just keep an eye on you in case someone else bothers you mate," in other words in case I start acting even cr-cr-craaazier.
Sometimes it is, like I said, literally having someone kick the shit out of you for being disabled in a way that makes them scared and confused. The irony is, when it does escalate to violence, people will tell you that the bloke who assaulted you was likely mentally ill too. No mate. He was just convinced he was an unsung avenger protecting the meek or some bullshit. Our culture is primed to make him feel that way. Y'know, it's the whole American Sniper thing: society is (according to American Sniper) divided into sheep, wolves and sheepdogs. This idiot thought he was being a sheepdog and fucking up a wolf to protect the sheep.
And mate if you care about disabled rights, you kind of have to be a feminist about it. The only people doing anything to combat chauvinism in our culture like this are the feminists.
i spent so much time redrawing stuff. and then rendering took forever. i will post the emperor alone solo later as i do wanna show off his abs (and i think a lot of ppl would prefer to rb him alone not my cringe yumeship art)
So technically, I haven't met him in the game yet, but I am a creature of habits to I know he'll probably be the one ill romance🫡 i know absolutely nothing about warhammer 40k but thats changing, i already have books on the way! Warhammer fans drop a comment, I'd love to meet more fans 🥹
Decided to use marazhai for a quick study today
I haven't been online much, i have been painting A LOT. Unfortunately, it's all stuff for zines and contests, so i can't show them YET. But be prepared for a bunch of BG3, Dragon Age, and Warframe paintings🥰
Few days ago i had a discussion about if romanced Marazhai comes to sleep at RT's bed as cats do, and how bad it will be if this two meter tall sadistic pile of spikes try cuddles🤔
i'm 100% sure Marazhai won't cuddle for any other reason but to mock RT for lulz, and to made them suffer ofc
On the hundredth day after the new year the heralds come to the doors of the city, announcing the arrival of the Golden Caravan at the farthest stop of its route ; like every year, citizens and travellers will surely gather at the western door to see it come to pass.
Right behind the banners as customary are the sculptor priests, foremost of the stonemason orders, bringing in this year's votive masterwork for the festivities.
The black and white steppe oxen precede the arrival of the head guild architect, charged with the safekeeping of the citizens' sacred geometry. The graduating apprentices and newly welcomed novices walk besides the draftsroom carriage, bearing the icons of the Citizen Architects Guild : ardor and patience.
Out of the kilns of the imperial workshops come delicate masterwork sought after the world over ; the sister-ceramists are selected from various key regions of the trade system and bring their local styles to the imperial production. Those workshops are the northernmost stop on the caravan's route.
Behind the masons, the torchbearers announce the arrival of the metalworkers' guilds, chief of which the head goldsmith on a palanquin of her own design. The braseros and forges are continuously tended by guild kindlers as to remain lit throughout the entire voyage of the caravan.
Second to last comes the host of the manticore, behind the braseros of the master kindlers. It is believed that the creature requires her caretakers to be pure of heart and most diligent ; the honour is bestowed only on the highest performing apprentices of the smithing guilds.
On the last day finally, behind the last of the apprentices, the crones of the chain count the days left to craft, keeping misfortune at work away, and, some even say, Death itself.
Maybe this is an unpopular hot take, but I think a good monster girl design should struggle with day-to-day life in a human world. If your monster girl can live a normal human life where her greatest inconvenience is wet dog smell or people assuming her tail is fake, you need to mix more monster in your girl.
Harpies who can't write or type or open most containers with their wings. Werewolves who worry about hurting someone if they get overstimulated at the wrong time. Minotaurs with digestive systems and metabolisms which require grazing throughout the day, not the three big meals humans are used to.
Lamias who have to stay home in the evenings and during cold months to stay warm, otherwise their muscles stop working right and they get stranded.
And they're sick of their human friends suggesting they get some kind of tail sweater. It wouldn't help, the problem is that their body doesn't produce enough heat to begin with, and anyways a tail garment would get in the way of their rectilinear locomotion, and there's no way a sweater would survive being walked on in the first place. It feels like they don't actually care about you being stuck at home whenever they go out, they just want to feel like it's not their fault they never see you.
If your monster girl can't be read as some kind of disability allegory, you're doing something wrong.
