everytime i ride down country backroads i feel so many amazing feelings. i love seeing every broken down abandoned building, every cow, pig, and goats that are on trashy farms, all of the empty feilds that go on for miles, and most of all, all of the woods and trees surrounding me. there is such a calm peace to being in places like this, its so quiet and almost feels empty but in the most beautiful and peaceful way ever. when i move out i want to live in a trailer in the south on the backroads, it is the most beautiful life i can imagine

it’s extremely depressing how people actually support something such as ICE. it’s so sad how we have to compare this to other examples of cruelty in history to get people to understand how horrible this situation is. If you open your eyes you will see how disgusting it is without needing to look to someone else to explain how bad it actually is. if you have any morals you know that separating families, dehumanizing people because of their race, threatening AND taking away innocent lives, and making children and any human fear for their life is a bad thing. and if you think that it’s somehow justifiable, we’re all ashamed to be on this planet with you.

Sharing this here as well because it’s vitally important that we stand up for our neighbors and for what’s right. If ICE is murdering people in the streets in broad daylight, what are they doing to people in detention centers?

It’s difficult not to feel powerless in situations like this, but I’d like to remind everyone that you can contact members of Congress, whether that be your representatives or your senators, to voice your opinion. Senate votes on the DHS funding bill this week so please consider calling your senators as soon as possible. There are scripts online if you’re not sure what to say.

This is not the time to sit on the sidelines. Be vocal. This administration is counting on “nice” people to stay silent and watch as ICE commits excessive and revolting brutality.
