What’s all this fuzzy about? Anti TLJ, Anti Rian Johnson!? What’s with all these random people harassing the TLJ cast on Twitter? WTF. People need to chill.
Apparently, butthurt fanboys and annes have been bombing Rian Johnson, MarkHamill, John Boyega and Kelly Marie Tran on Twitter after “The Last Jedi”because the way they handled Luke and because their ships didn’t came true. Seriously:it wasn’t enough for them to bully Daisy Ridley out of social media because sheliked Reylo fanart. Rian had to disable his comment section on Instagram forpeople not to bother him. And now they are taking quotes out of context andeven editing interviews from the actors to serve their own agenda of “how TLJsucked”. Mark Hamill is tired of this shit and I’m also tired of this shit. This is why we can’t have nice things.
I don’t understand what their point is: do they think if they bullypeople for long enough will it change anything? Welcome to the real word:Disney already has their money from the box office so they don’t give a damnabout a few people that disliked the film. Disney made millions of dollars outof “The Last Jedi” in the first two days (December 15 and 16) only in the USA.Now imagine in the rest of the world. If you don’t like the way the story isgoing, just don’t watch it. It’s not really that hard. Just stop embarrassingyourself online over fictional characters.
“TLJ ruined my childhood because it ruined Luke’s character!! The Luke Igrow up to love would have never done such a thing! He would never hide in anisland waiting to die!! That’s not a Jedi thing!” These people have seen thesame Star Wars saga as I did, right? Obi-Wan Kenobi exiled himself because hisapprentice became Darth Vader. Yoda exiled himself because he wasn’t able todefeat Darth Sidious. The original trilogy is basically the story of exiledJedi masters that failed. “A great teacher, failure is” – doesn’t anyone listento what Yoda has to say?? Luke had a moment of failure (he sensed Snoke’sdarkness and mistaken it for Ben’s) and wanted to kill him but he regret thethought the next second, but it was too late because Ben woke and saw him. Howis this out-of-character of Luke? He was always reckless: even Yoda said Lukenever live “here and now” but on the future, always looking on the horizon.Luke believed the future he sensed in Ben, but he was mistaken. Actually, Iwouldn’t be surprised if it was Snoke who orchestrate this entire thing andmanipulated what Luke saw inside Ben’s mind (pretty much the same way DarthSidious played with Anakin’s mind in the prequels for him to become hisapprentice and betray the Jedi Counsel).
“TLJ ruined Poe’s character!!” Ifthese people had read the Poe Dameron’s comics instead of making up their owncharacter during the last two years (from his 10 minutes of screen-time) theywould know Poe is being Poe in TLJ: that’s the way he is, he’s Poe DAMNeron
Finn became a rebel hero and a main character of his own, but somehowannes are rambling about his “character’s assassination” because his arc in TLJis not about flying around the galaxy with his hot boyfriend with flower crownsin their heads, or being trained as a Jedi beside his girlfriend Rey.
Peoplehave been theorizing like crazy for the last two years for nothing: now theyare angry because their theories didn’t come true. Grow up, already. These arefictional characters.
But guess what? The Reylos who have been harassed, stalked, bullied as“fascists”, “neo-nazis”, “racists”, “rape/abuse apologists”, “pedophiles”,etc., and presented with death threats for the last two years were right afterall: I don’t even mind the annes anymore, they are just being delusional asalways and completely missed the point of TLJ so they are either angry or in denial
It’s like someone said on Twitter: It’s pretty hard to enjoy a movie ifyou spent the last two years making up your own.
