Does grace get back his apartment and/or belongings in your AU?

I’ve just been picturing him strolling up to the front desk of The Hail Mary Museum(tm) and asking whatever poor employee is at the front desk if he could kindly have his raincoat back LOL

Weeeellll....

considering it took 20-ish years between the Hail Mary's launch and the return probes to get back to earth, and his tendency to unintentionally keep people at arm's length, I highly doubt anyone would hang onto his stuff for that long + they were all expected to die so what point is there in hanging onto their belongings outside of immediate family (which Grace doesn't really have)?

I think at a museum of some kind you'd also at most find things relevant to the construction and science behind the mission anyways, less so personal artifacts...

I think at most Stratt or maybe even Carl hung onto a few things in private, but even that can't be much because, again, he was thought to have died on the mission along with Yao and Ilyukhina, so whatever they hang onto is more memento than for the sake of preservation
