180512 - super productive day in the library today! I got all of my research for my upcoming architectural history assignment done 🌟

may 23 — the last class of the year is today! then it’s just finals, thesis (small detail lol) and then i’ve got a master’s degree in economics??? insane.

we had a graduation event two days ago with drinks and a buffet which was really nice, but also a little sad because everything’s ending and i have no idea what will come next (incoming: anxiety).

unrelated sidenote but the trousers i ordered arrived today (pictured) and they fit perfectly. really made my day ✨

[7/30] days of productivity • 19.04.07 // Back at it again, and felt a lot more productive today then the past two. Hopefully it sets the mood for the new week and it gives me extra motivation to study for my OSCE this Wednesday!

my wall got repainted, which was the perfect excuse to redecorate it. might add more stuff soon, but i already love how it turned out.

finals start in less than a month so it’s full speed ahead from now on. already finished an assignment due in june this weekend (what’s happening?!) so i can fully focus on those dreaded finals.

i haven’t posted journal spreads in a long time

Today is Sunday and I’m taking time out to just reconnect. I’m only on tumblr today, I’m not allowing myself on any other social media and instead aiming to spend the day reading, going on walks, journaling and just being with myself.

Life has been on the move so much which is fantastic, I love what I’ve been doing, however I need some time out to just do what I truly love

I’m excited to read more this summer. Mostly going to read my list of Pakistani/south Asian literature because I feel like I’m missing out in connecting with my heritage so much. Although I’m not the biggest fan of the Bollywood music and movies, or even pakistani clothes because they really only cater to a thin body shape and I’m far from that.

So South Asian literature is the only form that makes me feel connected to my Pakistani heritage. Urdu is so beautiful to listen to and speak (although I’m really bad at speaking it myself) if only I knew how to read it so I wouldn’t haven’t to consistently research translations or bother my mum to help me understand certain phrases.

I’m back at work tonight and I’m working consistently for 5 days and then I’m in summer school. So not looking forward to next week at all.

horrendous lighting but amazing work session in the library today~~ finished two assignments and rewrote some linguistics notes, i’ve been in a funk over these college applications so today felt really good!!
