10/7 the dogs love going to the barn so much :') and Iris is sooo good with the dogs and so chill he's a saint, he doesn't even blink when all the (5!) pups start ramping around and being loony. Bless him :') but the dogs r very respectful of his space

Astrid is such a mommas girl she sticks to me like glue when I ride 😂 she'll run ahead with scout and the farm dogs sometimes but she always keep me in sight and usually trots next to me 😂

So I moved Iris to my friend's grandparents place (she lives there/has her horses there too) earlier this week and we had the best first ride there today just exploring all over, and the best part is I can bring the dogs out with me (I couldn't at my old barn) so they went on a trail ride with us and it was fantastic :') (this has been a lifelong dream, to ride with my pups) scout listened to me so well off leash even tho I was on horseback, he acted like he'd done it a thousand times before. He and Astrid kept within our sight at all times (nd we had two other dogs with us that would stray ahead or behind at times) without me having to instruct them beyond a ''this way" every now and then. Also Astrid is seriously!! very fast, Iris and I were galloping p fast up a hill and she kept right up with us xD I just had Iris out in a halter and he was so responsive and chill, he was really enjoying himself. I'm so happy I can exercise him and the dogs at the same time now :) we all had so much fun.

Scout was only wacko for like 2 days… He’s so chill now this isn’t bad at all… I’ve grown up with intact dogs and no accidental pups but every dog’s different... Was wondering how this would go, Astrid’s had no interest at all (it’s her first heat) and he’s chilled out massively afte r a coupla days of standing heat, honestly it's been almost a non issue besides the fact I can't take Astrid in public for a few weeks...

At the exact one week mark Scout’s hit the obsessive lovesick phase :/ so that’s how my weekend’s going 🙃

He's got it bad rn, just cries and shakes and pants all day :') at least he's still eating tho. He ignored her the first week but things r progressing now and he's absolutely mental. A side of scout I never wanted to see :/ but we're managing
