so I did it again. Another random word combination and I intend to make a short story for this guy too. Must admit I’m particularly proud of my corn-combs idea! and the explosions will be made of popcorn!!!

working with word combinations I got the words pencil wizard. All I could picture was the top right sketch. I love this little guy so much I’m working a short story for him :)

Whenever I can get the spare time at work, I'll doodle on anything. This time I found some little shelf stickers. They're really fun to do little pictures on!

Day out to Eden project. Very wet and crowded but didn't stop me from getting some sketches done. Sampson is my boyfriends friends plant I drew when we drove back.

This months Character Design Challenge is Egyptian Gods. Ironically I was watching Horrible Histories on Netflix and they talked about Thoth, Anubis, Sobek and Ammit. I wanted to draw something other than humans (with or without animal heads) so I decided on Ammit, the devourer of the wicked. And decided to make him a small pup because I thought he’d look cute, regardless of his croc head, lion body and hippo rear.

Decided to do some quick silhouette excersises. The wolves were tricky and i really enjoyed drawing the ducks, i love ducks.

The official Merlin the Mallard poster designed by me. The film is close to finishing and is looking great.

Here are some of the colour palettes with hex codes I created for the Merlin the Mallard colourists to reference. Actually seeing the characters coloured in on their respective backgrounds makes me really excited to see this film finished!

 This is a speedpaint of me animating a shot done for my end of year student film ‘I AM DYSLEXIC’. This was one of the first animated shots I contributed to it. I found the old speedpaint earlier tucked away on my computer earlier today, and decided to edit it properly. Sorry for the choppy cuts, there were a lot of long pauses of nothing that I had to edit out, where I walked away from my desk to direct people at the time. The actual rough animation was animated by Alice Seatherton, I was doing the clean up and a few corrections. I really wanted to get that nice eyebrow wince in.

First shot I worked on for’I AM DYSEXIC’ in my second year being cleaned up by Katie Noel Wyman. Was a privilege to work on this film, it deserves the awards it won
