Apologies for not posting!

as you all are aware, this past year has been a rough one for everyone. personally, my physical and mental health has not been at its best and i have not had the time or energy to express myself creatively in awhile. i hope that changes soon, because i really find making posts for this account to be therapeutic and i love reading the replies i get :)

how long does it usually take you to make a post?

good question!

so for each anime, i have to gather around 200 screenshots of the show in question. then from there, i narrow it down to the screenshots i like the most and the ones that fit the color scheme i’m going for the most. i do this by dividing the screenshots into folders and then working from there. depending on how many episodes of an anime i have to work with and how colorful the show is itself, this process can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. i’ve found that shows that are a lot more fantasy and action driven, such as mob psycho 100, are a lot easier to work with than shows with more serious and dark themes, such as attack on titan. sometimes too, with older anime or more obscure anime, it’s harder to find high quality content to work with. after i get all of the screenshots i need, i make the photo sets, which takes about an hour to put all 9 photo sets together. so in total, each post takes anywhere from 3-5 hours to fully create and post :) sorry if this was a long explanation!

i just finished watching the first episode of the fruits basket reboot and i loved it so much!! i can’t wait to make a post about it once there’s more episodes because the scenery and all of the colors in it are so beautiful!
