Katara is so much better than me cos I would've rebuilt the entire Airbender Nation with how much I would've been bouncing on him
I’m sure there’s a perfectly normal explanation for all this.
👁👁
I choose to believe that this is all that happened in all of jjk. Anything that came after their second year was just an angsty fanfic which I can cry over and forget about later because they're canonically happy.
mappa doesn’t know anything anyways, this is how it went, they actually both decided to get married and live happy lives somewhere in a happy meadow
oh and yuji, nobara (with two functioning eyes) megumi, and everyone else visits often!!!
and choso visits with his brothers who are very much alive and
and and kokichi’s (mechamaru’s) body was healed and he owns an apartment with miwa and they’re super happy together
and sukuna is actually a changed man and makes a killer apple pie and loves yuji like a brother/father whatever
and nanami shares an apartment with his bestie haibara (they’re prob gay lovers but don’t tell anyone) and they own a company or a bakery or something fucking adorable together
and mahito was NEVER born cause FUCK mahito but hanami and jogo can stay as long as they behave
a-and— (breaking down into tears)

A Quiet Fall of Snow
•
The temple grounds were silent, blanketed by the weight of the first snow.
(y/n) sat at the edge of the open-air hallway that surrounded the courtyard, knees pulled to her chest and a thick black cloak draped over her shoulders. The wind whispered as flakes of white drifted gently from the heavens, slow and endless. Her hair tumbled loosely around her face, strands dusted faintly with the snowflakes that ventured near.
She had never seen snow before.
Her homeland was warm, sun-drenched and golden. Even in winter, the skies were clear, the days dry and endless. Cold, to her, had been little more than a brisk breeze. But this—this was something else. A quiet, frozen beauty that hushed the world, as though the earth itself held its breath.
She reached out a hand, catching a snowflake on her palm. It lingered for a heartbeat, intricate and perfect, before vanishing into a drop of water.
“You’ll freeze to death sitting there,” came a voice from behind.
(y/n) turned her head slightly, unsurprised. Uraume stood in the shadows of the hall, arms tucked into his sleeves, his usual stoic expression barely concealing his curiosity. His pale hair was pulled back, but a few strands had escaped to fall over his face.
“I won’t,” (y/n) replied softly, her breath misting in the cold air. “I didn’t expect it to be so quiet.”
Uraume tilted his head, stepping closer. “Snow has that effect. It buries sound.” He studied her for a moment, his expression unreadable. “You act as though you’ve never seen it before.”
“I haven’t.”
Her confession made Uraume pause. He blinked once, a flicker of something—surprise, maybe—crossing his face. “Never?”
(y/n) shook her head, turning her gaze back to the courtyard. The temple’s dark stone paths were now lined with white, as though even this cursed place had been softened by the snow. “Where I come from, it’s always warm. This feels… otherworldly.”
Uraume hummed thoughtfully, stepping to her side but keeping his distance. He followed her gaze, his tone unusually contemplative. “It’s strange to think you’re someone who would find wonder here.”
(y/n) smiled faintly. “You mean in this temple?”
“In his temple,” Uraume corrected.
The unspoken him loomed like a shadow over their conversation, but (y/n) didn’t flinch. She watched as a snowflake landed delicately on a wilting vine that hung over the courtyard stones, the contrast of white against decay holding her attention. “This place isn’t all ruin.”
Uraume’s sharp eyes flicked to her. “Only you would think that.”
They stood in silence for a while, the snow falling steadily around them. (y/n) didn’t move, her eyes reflecting the pale sky above. There was something childlike in her stillness—pure, unguarded awe—as though she feared any movement would shatter the magic of it all.
Finally, Uraume exhaled, a sound of quiet resignation. “I’ll fetch a brazier for you. You’ll freeze otherwise.”
(y/n) glanced up at him, warmth flickering in her gaze. “Thank you, Uraume.”
He grumbled something about foolishness and sentiment as he turned to leave, but there was no bite to his words.
Once alone, (y/n) returned her attention to the snow. She let her hand drift forward again, palm open to the falling flakes. Her fingers trembled slightly from the cold, but she didn’t care. Sukuna’s temple—harsh, unyielding, drenched in darkness—had, for once, been transformed.
She wondered what Sukuna would say if he saw her like this: sitting quietly, marveling at something so insignificant to him. He would probably mock her for it, for wasting time on fleeting beauty. But (y/n) had learned that fleeting things often held the most meaning.
A soft crunch of footsteps pulled her from her thoughts. She looked over her shoulder to find Sukuna, his imposing form appearing at the edge of the hallway, crimson eyes narrowed as they settled on her. His arms were crossed, his expression somewhere between irritation and curiosity.
“Why are you sitting here like a fool?” he drawled. “You’ll freeze to death.”
(y/n) smiled faintly. “That’s what Uraume said.”
Sukuna stepped closer, boots muffled by the snow now covering the temple floors. His gaze shifted to the courtyard, where the snow continued to fall in a serene, endless curtain. “You’ve never seen it before,” he said, though it wasn’t a question.
“No.”
Sukuna’s four eyes studied her, her small figure huddled in the cloak, her face soft with quiet wonder. He huffed a low breath. “Ridiculous.”
(y/n) turned her attention back to the snow, her voice gentle. “It’s beautiful.”
“Useless,” he countered, though his tone lacked its usual bite.
“Maybe. But for now, it makes the world feel peaceful.”
Sukuna fell silent. For a moment, he just watched her, the way the snowflakes seemed to soften her already kind features. Something about her calm demeanor—her ability to sit there for hours, finding solace where no one else could—stirred a strange unease within him.
“Tch,” he muttered finally. “Get up. You’re wasting your time.”
(y/n) turned to look at him, her smile soft and unwavering. “You don’t have to stay, Sukuna.”
He scowled, crimson eyes narrowing. “Who said I’m staying?”
And yet, Sukuna didn’t move. Instead, he lowered himself into a seat a few feet away, arms still crossed as he cast an annoyed glance toward the courtyard. “You’re a fool to think snow is peaceful,” he grumbled, but there was no real venom in his words.
(y/n) simply smiled and looked back toward the falling snow, content in the quiet. For all his grumbling, Sukuna remained there—silent, watching—until the snow finally stopped.
Sukuna never admitted it, but the memory of her sitting quietly in the snow would stay with him. A small, insignificant moment that somehow felt like warmth in the dead of winter.

I do not respect the grind. Go to bed
In another universe, someone will love me the way that I am and speak to me softly when I make a mistake.
There’s a level of confessional that only occurs when someone is driving you home late at night
haikyuu is incredible man…
you ever think about the fact that some people exist not to become stars but to lead others towards the light? ….
hinata was so moved by the little giant that his life found meaning the moment he came into his life (and the little giant never really ended up becoming a pro volleyball player in the first place despite his drive and talent!)
nekomata sensei’s “all we have to do is to lower the net!” shaped kuroo’s entire existence. it left such an impression on him that kuroo turned it into his goal in life: helping as many people as possible discover volleyball.
kuroo himself never going pro but becoming instead a bridge between people and volleyball (which he loves so dearly he wants to make it everyone’s business).
takeda sensei’s “He Who Would Climb a Ladder Must Begin at the Bottom” (which he says to hinata during his first year) became so meaningful to him that hinata hanged it on the wall of his bedroom in Brazil.
sugawara becoming a teacher and getting emotional when facing hinata (to whom he used to set when kageyama refused to do it) and kageyama (who quite literally took what had been his place up until the moment he came) and their growth.
you might think you will never end up doing anything great. instead, i believe you might not end up doing something grand, but whatever it is that you do in life it will always be great and you simply never know whether that one thing you said once or that one thing you once did will ever become the driving force behind someone else’s dream.
i burst into tears whenever i think about haikyuu and the importance of people.

to a heart's content — 「 single father!miguel o'hara x reader 」
content warnings ; fem!reader, use of she/her pronouns, "mother"/"daughter"/"wife" used, parental death, mentions of child abandonment, not too much mention of him being spider-man
contains ; single father!miguel o'hara, boss!miguel o'hara, assistant!reader, hints of pining, just some good ol' fluff for everyone's current favorite dilf, angst w/ comfort, heavy need of editing prob, not beta read
notes ; purely self-indulgent to fuel my love of found family trope apologies
Single Father!Miguel O'Hara whose life revolves essentially around one person—his daughter—but to be one of the heads of America’s largest corporation and bearing the responsibility of keeping Nueva York safe and sound whilst simultaneously being a single father was not exactly something that Miguel O’Hara could juggle so easily. Hell, he’s even surprised that he’s made it so far without losing his absolute sanity considering he couldn’t even recall the last time he was able to rest properly without his attention being wavered to something or someone else.
Single Father!Miguel whose hands always filled to the brim with tasks and obligations. Miguel wished he was able to clone himself twice in order to have three Miguel O’Haras attending to each of his duties soundly, but alas, Alchemax and the matter of his mind can only do so much.
Single Father!Miguel whose ever so lucky to have you as his assistant to at least help with two out of three of them. You entered the picture around three years ago, when he had caught the eye of his superiors and had used his intelligence to their own advantage, disguising it as a promotion of sorts. You were given as some sort of gift to them as a way to help ease his workload and he truly couldn’t be more thankful for your existence—if he doesn’t necessarily show it most of the time from his stoic countenance he masks on 24/7. While not exactly a carbon copy of him, you, by far, come rather close, and Miguel will take whatever comes to him in this day and age.
Single Father!Miguel who notices that you're obedient and demure, though rather soft spoken and a little too apprehensive for his liking at times (he had noticed, before you became his assistant, that your coworkers would shovel their workload onto you and you’d accept with little complaint but evident hesitation; he wonders if it was the given similarities between you and him that made him choose you as his assistant). You dressed well, hung onto every word he said, and spoke out when properly needed. You were a good aid to have around—great, even.
