Oh. my. GOD.

Genuinely SUCH a great little episode with incredibly stunning graphics, a fun and light-hearted plot and, most importantly, an absolute focus on our favorite girlies!! I love that Nami and Robin finally get a bit of the well-deserved spotlight.

A very very fun watch, 100% recommend - and I really hope they'll adapt the other HEROINE stories! ❤️❤️❤️

If you could fancast Brynlee for the show, either anime or live-action, or even both, who would you choose?

Oh boy! I think someone else asked me about which english VA I pictured for her and I can't find the original post but if I remember correctly, I think I said Cristina Vee (she does Marinette's voice in Miraculous Ladybug and Killua in HunterXHunter, amongst many other roles!). Or maybe Ahsley Johnson (who does Ellie in The Last of Us and Fearne Calloway in Critical Role's third campaign).

I gotta be honest, I don't really pay attention to actors much so I never really thought about it ah ah. But I really like the actress who plays Shuri in Black Panther, Letitia Wright! I think she has the right energy for the character. Or maybe Amandla Stenberg? I remember her as Rue from the Hunger Games and she was really good, and now I can't stop picturing her as Child!Brynlee ah ah.

If you have any other ideas for a fancast though, I'd love to hear them! I'm really not all that well-versed in actors and the likes ah ah

HAPPY 300TH CHAPTER!

Well, we officially made it to the 300th chapter of A Gacha Addict in the One Piece World!

For those who haven't checked it out yet, I'm holding a little contest in celebration. Here are the rules!

To participate, all you need to do is write a comment to share what's been your favorite part of the story so far (character, scene, dialogue, unexpected twist, whatever works for you). The time limit to participate is once the next chapter is posted (tomorrow). And, once that's done, I'll be spinning a fun little wheel to determine the winner - and said winner will be granted access to the first chapter of the next AU in this series.

The first chapter is 30 pages long and around 10,500 words, and this AU is intended to eventually become the Brynlee/Arber fic everyone has been hounding me for since the moment I started posting this story xD The AU is far from finished on my end and I will not begin posting it before we're through Fishman Island in THIS story due to a certain number of potential spoilers. So you know, it's a VERY early sneak peak xD

And because I love you guys and I am incredibly grateful for all the love and support you've shown Gacha Addict & Brynlee so far, those who participate but do not win will still be given random little sneak peaks of future chapters as a consolation prize, much like what I did on the 200th chapter.

Anyways I wanted to do something a little different, so here we are!

Thank you for all the love you've shown this silly story so far. I really didn't think I'd get this far when I first started out! I'm really glad that people are enjoying reading it as much as I'm enjoying writing it.

Gacha Addict Incoming 300th chapter!

I've only just now realized that the 300th chapter of Gacha Addict will be coming out next week and I want to do something special to celebrate like I did for the 200th, but I'd like to do something different and I don't know WHAT

If anyone has any ideas they'd like to share, now's the time xD

So after finishing crash landing, I gotta ask how did water seven/envies lobby, thriller bark and sabaody go down with vivi?

Oh man, I haven't thought about it that far xD

I'd say that Skypiea, Water 7 and Thriller Bark happened much the same, honestly. Vivi isn't exactly a disruptive factor like Brynlee, her sole presence wouldn't be enough to throw the arcs off-track. She'd help out in the various fights, and if I'd actually written it I'd probably have found a way to give her a Devil Fruit at some point, too - probably post-timeskip, though.

Sabaody goes down differently for the simple reason that Brynlee and Ace (plus Sabo) went ahead to stop them there. The way I pictured it, our lovely couple basically beat the ever-loving shit out of the entire crew (mostly Luffy and Zoro 'cause they're too stubborn to accept defeat) to show them exactly how weak they are. They needed to do everything in their power to show them that they weren't ready for the New World and, when the message finally got through, Sabo left with Robin and the others were all sent away on their respective training journeys - though this time, as a favor Brynlee called in from Kuma, since she helped him and Bonney out.

I'm not really sure where I'd have sent Vivi, to be honest. I've half-a-mind to keep her on Amazon Lily, to be honest, because I think she could learn a lot there. I guess we'll never know for certain, though xD
