The post explains how I got this issue of My Anime, and this is a good outlook at what was important to anime back in 1982. If anyone want’s to translate an article (or the whole thing) I would appreciate if you let me know. After 5 years, I finally have a reason to tackle my own collection of Newtype USA issues that have been in a box for years now. I wrote a good chuck on the post on how Newtype USA affected me as an anime fan, and also why I stopped reading them after a while. I picked this issue out because of the Robotech article inside that I remember reading when I got this in high school, which I thought was really interesting at the time. This also includes whatever was popular in anime a decade ago that must have an article written about it, so you guys have fun with that. This is also a .pdf, and a large file too. The reason why is because the book is too wide to be scanned, so I just did high quality photos.

This includes a write up about Studio Gainax, Street Fighter II, tons of advertisements and other reviews as well. Here we have something I found in the dealers room at Animazement a couple of years back, which is one of the more unique finds added to my collection. There is more information in the link, but it is basically a book that has early translation guides for Nadia, Bubblegum Crisis and Megazone 23, and more. This is in a .pdf file so have fun reading it.

Yea, so its been a while since I posted on here, sorry about that. Got busy with school and what not. So here we have an issue from ANIMAG that focuses on Haruhiko Mikimoto works, which also includes Orguss, other 80′s OVA’s, Votoms write up by Tim Eldred and some old advertisements. I met Mikimoto at Animazement I believe in 2013, really cool guy to meet in person, even willingly signed my Macross: DYRL (Clash of the Bionoids) VHS tape that I showed him too.

This was another book I picked up at an anime store in Kanazawa, Japan, which makes up a small amount of Space Dandy merch that is out there currently. This has a lot of interviews in side that would appeal to people who like Space Dandy, and if you are wanting to translate any of them just let me know.
