I based this off this scene from Gurren Lagann since Rise of the TMNT is heavily inspired by it

There's a lot of Gurren Lagann references in the show, but Leo and Donnie specifically reference Kamina and Simon a lot

Ruby is having a Nightmare-enhanced mental breakdown as her repeated failures to save Weiss weigh on her, and that pressure takes the form of having her friends, family and teachers applaud her before becoming dolls. Is this the Nightmare's way to telling Ruby, "Pysche! You aren't a huntress, you were just playing pretend this whole time."

On the subject, if Ruby is Shinji, does that make Ozpin Gendo? they have that "use children for war..." thing...
