Bad Ending:

Hanto dies from Suga’s experimentations before Shouma gets a chance to properly reconcile with him. Shouma is pulled into such a weak mental state that even ice cream is ineffective and he starts hallucinating. The only thing Shouma has to remember Hanto by is his journal which contains all of Hanto’s inner most thoughts. He often reads it since sleep never comes and neither did hunger. The last thing Hanto had wrote about Shouma was:

“I don’t need him anymore.”
