“Then why are you helping me? You’re so confusing!”
“Because otherwise, we’d both be lost, and I’d rather be lost by myself.”
jacksonxoliver:
“Watch it, lady!” Jackson yelled at the muggle woman, glaring at her and receiving one from her.
He softened up when he sees Anita on the ground and reached his hand out to help her up. “Why are you trying to get lost in the first place?”
“I don’t need your help...” Anita declined his hand and used the wall instead to steady herself as she got up. “And it’s none of your business as to why, but if you couldn’t already tell, I fucking hate people.”
jacksonxoliver:
Jackson was caught off guard by her shoving him, but regained his balance quickly and turned towards her.
“If you know where you are going then why do I have to get us back?”
“Because you were the one got lost and you were the one who wanted to get back!” Anita inhaled sharply through her nose, rolling her eyes at the incompetency of her new companion. “Look -- there are muggles everywhere, and not a wizard in sight -- how about you --”
But before she could tell him what to do, a tourist made their way past her, knocking her down with armfuls of shopping bags from the resort shops.
jacksonxoliver:
“You just remind me of someone I know,” Jackson explains, letting the almost painful silence take over. They wandered aimlessly and he felt even more lost than before. “Are you sure you know where you are going?”
“Really?” Anita was about to ask who it was, then she realized that she didn’t actually care.
“Of course I know where I’m --” She stopped dead, realizing she was also unfamiliar with where they actually ended up. Anita shoved the boy. “You try getting us back!”
But if Anita didn’t get back, she didn’t really care about that either; she just felt her mood already become more and more irritated.
jacksonxoliver:
It’s official. Jackson is terrified, yet oddly amused, by this girl. She could fight him, but he admired her at the same time. She could hold her own and wasn’t afraid to defend herself. He let her lead him back, listening to her scold him with a small smile on his face. She sort of reminded him of Roxanne. Hopefully, this girl wouldn’t kill him and they could become friends - or at least have her not hate him.
“Why the fuck are you smiling?” Anita snapped; she had finally looked up at the boy -- looking rather immature, to be honest -- as she dragged him across the resort, back where the magical folk tended to stay. Or so she thought; she had been so peeved that she didn’t really remember where she was going, just following where her wand pointed before.
jacksonxoliver:
“Of course I tried that, if it worked then I wouldn’t be here,” he rolls his eyes, immediately regretting his sass. This girl could probably kill him, he shouldn’t be trying to pick a fight. “I’m sorry, I’ll leave you alone.”
“Ugh, do I have to do everything myself?” Anita shuffled around to pull her wand out of her jacket, and held it out across her palm. “Point me!”
The wand spun around on her hand, before stopping with its tip pointed in a certain direction. “That’s north --” she closed a fist around her wand, then reached for the boy’s sleeve to drag him in that direction. “-- let’s go, and maybe you’ll learn a thing or two about wandering around without a map!”
colouredhair:
“Did you fight him? Because I could fight him. I’d definitely fight him.” Teddy raises an arm as if to prove it, but the only advantage he really had was his elongated limbs, maintaining a strikingly average muscle power.
“Cute.” Anita nearly laughed -- the fact that he was from home was almost comforting, actually, so he deserved a little more hospitality than Anita was usually willing to give. “But I really doubt that you could fight anyone here, let alone from Cakrawala!”
jacksonxoliver:
“I’m sorry?” Jackson says, more in a question than a statement. He tried to come off as unintimidating because she could probably kick his ass, and she didn’t seem impressed with his presence. “I- uh- just got lost and don’t know how to get back.”
“Yes, you should be,” Anita snapped, approaching the boy with flared eyes, trying her best not to reach for her wand there and then. Her fists were balled at her sides. “Maybe try retracing your fucking steps!”
jacksonxoliver:
Jackson hated to admit it, but he was lost. The building was huge and filled with lots of twists and turns. Where even am I? he asks himself, turning in circles trying to orient himself. Oh well, he’ll find his way… eventually.
“God fuck -- what is it with people always finding me when I’m trying to get lost?” Anita was nearly shrieking at yet another student in her way, when she had tried to wander off on her own again. The best thing she could do was meander around the tourists of Dubai, but even that made her feel claustrophobic.
vegasxxrenee:
“Yeah!” Truthfully, the blonde had simply begun speaking to the nearest body in her peripheral vision in her state of excitement, but the grin on her face hadn’t dropped any at the unfamiliar face. “Hard to believe that this entire school is inside of a resort! And it’s so close to everything – Katanohk is almost entirely up in the trees…”
Anita tensed up at the girl’s awful excitement, and it almost made her want to scream if it wasn’t for the fact that she did care a little for public decorum, and instead gave a fake smile. No one at Cakrawala really cared much for her anyway. “Okay, so what’s your point?”
frankiecorners:
“You made plans while we were talking? But you weren’t on your phone- or- ohhhh.” Dumbass self.
Frankie shrugged, “oooookay. What about this one? ‘Are you my appendix, because you’re giving me a funny feeling in my stomach and I want to take you out.”
Anita rolled her eyes and took a long breath through her nostrils, giving him a slightly irritated smile. Only slightly irritated; she had plans in mind now for her own amusement.
“Third time’s the charm?”
frankiecorners:
“On a scale of one to America, how free are you tonight?”
“Was that bad? How about, do you have a band-aid? ‘cus I just scraped my knee falling for you.”
“I was free. Then you decided to tell that idiot joke. So now I’m not.”
fletchedp:
“Who the fuck walks around with their wand? What are you doing, playing muggle for a day?”
“Secondly, what is it with you and threatening me? I haven’t done anything to you.”
“It’s in my bag, you idiot, I didn’t think I had to defend myself from monsters today, but this school is clearly crawling with them. And what is it with you and following me around?”

“If you’re going to let one stupid prick ruin your life, you’re not the girl I thought you were.”
“He didn’t ruin my life -- he just lived an unfortunate existence enough to cross me. Besides, what kind of girl do you think I am?”
fletchedp:

“No, no-”, Fletcher paused, “Double no. no. N-O. No.”
Anita nearly screamed when she turned the corner of the hall, trying to stay within the magical part of the school. She really shouldn’t have been surprised that there was another student in her way going the opposite direction, but when has Anita ever been the one to actually be cognizant of her surroundings?
“Oh --” she let out a huff, but a satisfied one, as the blonde boy stammered. “It’s you. Lucky I didn’t have my wand on me, yeah?”
