So today I decided to specifically write about this post because I still cannot moved on🤭

First of all,
This festival is held to celebrate the Christmas and New Year~ So it is quite long (2 months) compared to normal festival💙
It is located in Heundae beach~ Im pretty sure mostly you guys have heard about it before. So it is a landmark of Busan~ if you take the subway it is in a line 2
Once you go to exit 3 it will shown the led gate along the road to the beach. As you passed everything you will see a hugeeeeee LED park~ I called it huge because almost everything covered with lamp.
I AM SO GLAD I CAME IN THE END OF JANUARY BECAUSE IMAGINE IF I CAME DURING CHRISTMAS I WILL SEE HUMAN FESTIVAL INSTEAD....
well, they offered not only LED for photos but also a lot of attractions, games also Fooood!!!
Im still overwhelmed with the charm of this festival because even in Seoul they do have LED thingy along the park but It feels different because there is a sea LED in the seasides. you know what I mean.
Plus they provide everything that we need like, musics, magic attraction, street food, food trucks, restaurants also coffee shops.
Busan never betrayed me. Even though it was a very short trip, gladly I visited this festival, oryugdo and gwangali beach for sunrise.

As i promised you, I will write about the scholarship, but before that, the very fundamental question what is KGSP!
Its Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP), which is from Korean Government called NIIED that focusing on enhancing global competence due to globalization. Through that vision, NIIED provide several global scholarships and one of them are KGSP.

This scholarship are available for undergraduate and graduate program. The scholarship includes airfare tickets, tuition fee, allowances, researches and insurances. For further information, go check: http://www.studyinkorea.go.kr/
It is well informed regarding requirements, application form, benefits and etc which is super helpful. My intention in this post is NOT ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION but HOW TO GET IT~ for you who wish to get the application form copy, not from this site. Go check another site
Here, I will talk about what you should and should not do in order to get the scholarship. Be ready~
First of all, apart from the documents that you need to prepare thoroughly, you need to prepare your mind first. Ask yourself:
1. are you really want to study?
2. are you sure the major that you will enroll is your passion?
3. I f you get accepted, what will you do after you graduate from school?
these 3 simple question may lead you to write the essential essay and study plan. (refer to Application form 2 and 3).
After all sets, try to look for the major and school across South Korea. Please refer to this designated universities, match your major, find their curriculum and set your goals. If you already decide it, then ready to go!
Second of all,
Apart from the administrative requirements, such as: transcript, proof of citizenship, and other proof, Professor recommendation letter is one of tops priority. (at least, for me).
NIIED and your future school will “judge” you based on the document, and professor recommendation. Thus, the recommendation has the full power to make your worthy enough for the scholarship. So here, never ever make your professor give a general recommendation and even worse, write something cliche. Find the closest professor who able to give objective comments and bragging about you.
Third of all,
Personal statement VS statement of purpose.
For those who think that these two are the same, raise your hands. 555
if you could not distinguished between these, we are on the same boat, pals. but here is the think,
Personal statement, is about YOU, not class, not grade, not even study. *ewh*
in this page, write as informative yet fun about what is your dream, what did you achieved and who you want to be. Try to be as honest as possible and be you!
while the statement of purpose is more about what do you want to study (study plan or research plan) which of course no one knows better than yourself. Be brief, clear and smart.
last but not least,
Provide everything that they want. No less but can be more.
here are the requirement document list that some of them are not mandatory. But, fellas, try to provide more and convince them that giving you a scholarship is a worthy investment :)
