Right now Iโm just thinking about how I would support Palestine and hate Israel if I wasnโt an Israeli myself, because thatโs what would probably happen.
I absolutely HATE what is happening right now in Gaza and I cannot wait for the day it will all be over.
Although I am broken about all of this itโs still hard for me to see all those hate posts about Israel. I can understand why, of course, the things theyโre showing on the news are horrible, but seeing this much hate towards your own country, thatโs really hard.
When I was in France a couple of months ago, I met some English guys that were nice and we started talking, and they asked me where Iโm from.
I was legit SCARED to tell them Iโm from Israel because I was afraid that they would look at me differently.
Also, please donโt make this whole thing about Netta winning the Eurovision. Her message in her song didnโt have anything to do with the political situation in Israel, yet I see people accusing her and saying that she wasnโt supposed to win, just because Israel is shit and we are terrorists. This had nothing to do with her, except that sheโs from the country you hate so much.
I love Israel. The people, the culture, the places and views, and Iโm sad that the world canโt focus on that with all of the things that are happening here.
The thing thatโs killing me the most though, is the fact that I canโt do anything myself to stop this. Next year Iโm going to be in the army, like every 18 year old in Israel must do by law. Iโm not going to serve in the combat force, because I hate wars and I donโt think they solve anything, but itโs so frustrating knowing that itโs not in my hands.
Every time thereโs a bombing here or in Gaza itโs always the same and I am sick of it. Hamas is manipulating its people to protest and try to pass the border in order to get them killed and injured so they could blame us for murdering innocent men, women and children. Yes, people are still being killed, but itโs the only way the Israeli defense force can prevent palastanians from entering Israel.
I pray that this exhausting conflict will end already, and we could all live in peace.
