28 Years Later: The Bone Temple

(Spoilers ahead)

One of those films that shines the brightest because of humanity as one of its core messages.

A deeply compassionate NHS doctor who found the cure because he wanted to connect even with those who seemed hopeless to most of us: someone infected with rage virus. No one will probably ever find out that Ian Kelson managed to treat Samson, an Alpha infected man, but his life's work went to providing a brief window of clarity and beauty to Samson. He might succumb to the virus again but all of the efforts of Dr. Kelson was worth it. That's how life is, isn't it? As we live saying: the horrors persist but we keep our whimsy. The small moments of joy is what makes it all worth it. They have to. Otherwise, it's just detachment and suffering. Our achievements won't last forever but saving someone just for a brief moment...maybe that's enough.

Messy Thoughts, Messy Spread 🫟

My brain was doing so much and yet...I was in some kind of suspended state. A "mental paralysis". I could not move to do something productive.
