Confidence Tips ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
• Be optimistic, positive, and grateful. Gratitude and positivity are such good traits to have, having them, and expressing them will make you happier and more confident.
•Stop comparing yourself to others! Instead of being envious of another person’s success, learn from them and their success. Comparison is the thief of joy. Focus on your strengths, learn to compete with yourself rather than other others, celebrate others’ victories, and practice gratitude.
• Good posture. It is scientifically proven that having good posture will make a person feel more powerful, calm, and confident.
•Eye contact. I don’t think I need to explain this one too much. Eye contact is extremely powerful. Practicing eye contact in conversations will help you feel more confident, simple as that.
•Speak slowly and thoughtfully. This is actually something I am currently working on. Be mindful of what you are saying, and speak calmly. Don’t worry about needing to rush and spit out your words.
•Embrace and accept yourself. Many people think confidence is about changing everything about yourself until you finally like yourself. NO. Confidence is about loving and trusting yourself, realizing that you are enough.
Practice self love!!! Drink some water!!! Compliment yourself!!!
I want to study, but I waste my whole day without doing anything significant, and am unable to concentrate. What should I do?
Many students face the same issue, but there are strategies you can use to improve your concentration and study more effectively.
Create a study environment 💡
Find a quiet and comfortable place to study where you won't be interrupted. Make sure the lighting is adequate, and your study space is organized and free from distractions.
Set goals 📌
Before you start studying, set clear goals for what you want to accomplish. Break down your study session into smaller tasks and set a time limit for each task. This will help you stay focused and motivated.
Take regular breaks ⏱️
It's important to take regular breaks while studying to prevent burnout and maintain focus. Short breaks can help refresh your mind and prevent fatigue.
Stay hydrated and eat well 💦
Make sure you stay hydrated and eat nutritious foods while studying. A healthy diet and proper hydration can improve your concentration and cognitive function.
Eliminate distractions ❌
Turn off your phone, close unnecessary tabs on your computer, and let your family or roommates know that you need some uninterrupted study time. Minimizing distractions will help you concentrate better.
Practice mindfulness 🧘🏻♀️
Mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing exercises or meditation, can help calm your mind and improve your focus. Take a few minutes before starting your study session to practice mindfulness.
Stay motivated ✨
Remind yourself of your goals and the reasons why you are studying. Visualize your success and stay motivated throughout your study session.
Remember that practice makes perfect, so keep trying these techniques until you find what works best for you. Good luck with your studies!

One-Page Masterlist
안녕하세요! Hey everyone! I recently got an ask about my old masterlist, which is the same as my broken-down masterlist except it has all of my lessons on one page, rather than on multiple separate posts. Some may find this expanded version easier to navigate, so I’ll keep this up for y’all! My broken-up masterlist, of course, will still be available for those who find that more helpful :)

I reached a personal goal with this blog so I decided to celebrate with this Master Post ✨
This is going to be a long post so I am putting it all under the cut. Notion is a free to students app that is used primarily for note taking but I can be used for so much more.
Below the cut is some resources I use to make my Notion pages useful and beautiful! I hope you enjoy and feel free to message me if you want any more information.

How to Survive Online Courses in College
I started off taking online courses when I began community college. I couldn’t drive at the time so getting around for me was very tricky. There are a lot of things I learned that are pretty different from taking online classes vs. taking regular classes on campus. Some people find it to be better for them but others cannot grasp the thought of not physically going to class. Here are some tips I’ve learned to survive online courses in college.
Always Check Your Class Availability and Have a Plan B
If you are just starting out at school as a freshman then it is pretty hard to get the classes you want. You end up signing up for courses later than everyone else that especially includes online course. A lot of people will be wanting to take online courses since you will not need to be actually going to class. Remember to always check if the class that you want or need will still be available when it comes time for you to register for classes. If you see that the class is filling up pretty fast then I suggest having a plan B ready just so that you will not be panicking when you look at your class availability one day and the classes you’ve been waiting for have been taking.
2. Always Check Your Email
It is important to always be checking your school email from any notifications from your online professor. Some times they will start the course early have you do a simple exercise so that you will get used to the ins and outs of the website that will be used for this class. Usually, it will be something easy like introducing yourself with a powerpoint or a paper or a paragraph that you will have to submit using the website. They usually have directions or little assignments here and there for people to learn the website so keep an eye out for those. Don’t stop at just the beginning of class though! Remember to continuously check your email to see if something is due or there has been a change in assignments or if your professor will be giving you more or less time to do something. Anything can happen when you are not physically going to class so checking your email and website will be like you stepping into the classroom.
3. Print Out The Schedule and Syllabus!
It will be very easy for you to forget about your online school.
tip: treat looking at your syllabus like going to your class for attendance. set a time every day for just taking a couple seconds to check your schedule and your syllabus. this will ensure that you haven’t missed anything, nothing is due in 3 hours, and no quizzes are sneaking up on you. Online classes do not need a specific day for you to physically hand your assignment in or take a quiz. If they want you to randomly turn something in on a Sunday by midnight then that is what will happen. You will need to be ready for anything that comes your way.
4. Make Friends
It’s really hard to make friends with anyone that will be in your course but, it does help to have someone you know to help you remember to take a test or help you figure out how to turn something in. If you can, try to email your online classmates if you are stuck on something. Someone will usually respond and from there you could make a friend. Professors are usually great at responding to emails and questions when they have an online course but this isn’t always the case when you forgot to do something and it’s already 11:00pm and you cannot figure out how to turn something in. Having someone’s number is always useful and could save you when you are in a pinch.
5. Timers/Reminders
Timers will be important. Like I said it is really easy to forget that you are enrolled in an online course since you will never be going to it. If you don’t have a good sense of looking at your planner but you are good with checking your phone every time then create a bunch of timers. Set timers for one or two days before something is due depending on how much work you will need to put into it. For example:
Week one:
-Research and read this article: Native Hawaiians and their History chapter 1,2,3,4
-Watch Videos:
- The Island of Hawai'i, Link:
- How Pidgin became a language, The Voice Of Hawai'i, Link:
-The Gods of Hawai'i, Link:
Due: November 14
A 5 page paper about one of the three videos above, double spaced, MLA format, name the file YOUR NAME_course title_course number_Paper 1
You can set a time for three days before that 5-page paper will be due to remind you to go back to your schedule and syllabus to check what you will need to do for that paper. Or you could even set a reminder to do one assignment at a time. For example:
-Set reminder to read chapters 1 and 2 on Monday 12:00pm
-Set reminder to read chapters 3 and 4 on Tuesday 9:30 am
-Set reminder to watch The Islands of Hawai'i and How Pidgin Became a language on Wednesday 6:00pm
-Set reminder to watch The Gods of Hawai'i on Thursday 4:00pm
-Set reminder to write 5-page paper on Friday 2:00pm
-Set reminder: Paper is due Saturday by 12:00am
Now you have your whole schedule lined up for you and your phone will always remind you about what you will need to do next. This will help you make sure that you will get everything done before or on the due date.
6. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!
7. Always Try to Contact your Professor
Do not be afraid to ask for help. It is hard to explain everything to someone online 24/7. Your professor will understand and hopefully will be in contact for the majority of the day time. Do not be afraid to ask questions!
Let me know if you guys would like another blog talking about how to survive an online class for summer school!
