I think it's time for me to restart posting here again, as the fall is approaching and with it, the dreaded academic year.
I have improved my entrance exams scores, but not enough for me to get into medicine, therefore, this year I will be taking them again. Despite the little time I had last year, I decided to enroll into biotechnology course, where I can hopefully skip some classes as I have already completed this part of material, tho in different language.
I also want to write the Celpe-Bras exam in spring. This year I missed the application date by two days, so I better prepare for it. It seems that the closest examination centers are in Germany, Slovakia and Italy, so maybe I'll skip a few days and merge it with a recreational stay?
To sum my thoughts up, my plans for this semester are as follow:
At least 0.5 hour daily of Portuguese - preferably more, because my favourite study method is watching an episode of a show in this language and trying to understand it without (too frequently) checking the vocab, then rewatching it and noting every new expression, even if I understand it but do not recall ever seeing it before, then translating and making flashcards. It takes me approximately 5 hours per one episode, but I really hope that by January it will be up to 30 minutes of additional work;
At least 3 hours weekly of biology revision;
At least 3 hours weekly of chemistry revision;
At least 2 hours weekly of intense movement. I no longer have PE and thus will not have scheduled time for working out, but I'd love to either join a uni swimming group (if they let me without barely any experience) or going to the gym;
Work. I hate working. And I'm too stupid for a scholarship, yippe.
Before the semester starts again, I will increase the time I send studying those matters, to get in the mood of university again.
Well, that may be it. I think I'll start posting daily or weekly again, it's a nice way to keep track of my time after all.
