Oh yes, that could be it. Everyone needs peace and complete focus to get ready for Halloween. What are you going to dress up as, hm?
Don't you think we're a little old for Halloween?

This is getting ridiculous. And then you don’t want me making my own entertainment.
Maybe they're just, um, getting ready for Halloween?
Tried to go to an apple orchard this morning...
…Who isn’t open on a Wednesday? These are the things that stress me out most in life.
But once you do get there, it's really nice! You can smell the apples from the road!
Butterfly Catcher (Closed)
It was Saturday, fall (autumn, she reminded herself), and October. Anna had turned eighteen, had her first hunt, seen the division of the pack, and many other things. By all accounts, she had been through more than she figured she had any right to, but it took her a moment to figure out that one thing was missing amidst it all.
Her visions.
The last major one had been...Three months ago, she realized. At the horrible 4th of July party. The tornado still stood crystal clear in her mind, as did the subsequent events of the day. Anna had been so distracted, though, with what had happened in the aftermath of the incident that he hadn't turned a thought inward and realized that not once had she had anything as traumatic and explosive as that one vision.
Not even little tiny ones, not really. As she sat on the edge of her bad, Anna looked at her hands. She didn't feel any different. Anna got up, walked to the bathroom, and looked in the mirror. She didn't look any different (except for her hair, of which the remnants of a red dye job still remained). When she showered, it was hard not to check her whole body to make sure she hadn't changed in some other way.
Breakfast was unusually melancholy. Dad had made juevos y chorizo, normally one of Anna's preferred items, but she hadn't said a word. Not that she usually spoke much, but even her parents picked up on her unusual silence.
"Anna? Honey?"
"Huh?" She looked up from the mostly-full plate of food, the fork balanced awkwardly between her fingers.
"You've barely touched your food." Her mother tilted her head. It must have been bad if even her mom noticed.
"Oh, I guess I'm just not hungry." Anna tried to force a smile and take a bite just to please her parents. It was just as good as always, but it tasted just a little bit off.
Maybe something was wrong with her.
The rest of the meal passed with relative silence. Anna's parents knew better than to push the issue, and there was no way she was ready to tell them about her problem just yet. Later, she thought, she might head to the library - try to figure something out.
Because even if she had always regarded her gift as a sort of curse, she couldn't help but feel like a piece of her was missing.
Pizza pockets make the best breakfast.
I like pizza bagels a little better.
Finally fall...
It’s a crowd pleaser, that’s for sure.
Well, it does mean no more sun.It also means no more swimming, though...
Finally fall...
Nah, maybe I should be sorry. Not your fault all everyone talks ‘bout if fall this, fall that, I just realized it’s fall and i’m gonna fall out my chair. God, it might as well be a vine.
Instead of autumn? Autumn is more ancient than Fall, personally. And if you’re like me ‘n don’t give a flying crap about the modernization or past version you just call it the ‘Hot-and-Cold season with pumpkin pie on the side.’
Ancient? I suppose I can see that. I've, um, I've never really thought about like that before, I guess. What do you, um, give a crap about then?
Finally fall...
Congrats, you are number 100# to mention how much they love or love that it is Fall. Good For You.
S-sorry, I was just excited, I guess...It's nice to finally call it something else...
Finally fall...
What's happened?!
Why the hell is there a load of chains and a lock around the pizzeria doors? There’s a party booked in half an hour, and this… This really doesn’t look good.
Wh-why would they shut it down?
Don't you love a good summer storm?
All the seasons seem to blur together for me. I don’t pay much attention to them.
Pleased to meet you. I’m Isabelle.
Not a one? I suppose it is pretty cool here, though. I can't wait until winter, though - all the snow.
Ask me again in a few hours when it feels like my scull isn’t going to crumble in on itself.
I'm s-sorry.Is there anything I can get?
Don't you love a good summer storm?
Exactly. A much-needed reprieve.
Soon enough it'll be fall, though. It'll be nice to leave summer behind, but...I don't know. Sorry, I'm Anna.
Yeah - that certainly sounds good!
I’m a big fan of red.
Red's a nice color. At least you didn't say like, olive green - I might've had to judge you just a little.
I have the worst headache.
Mind handing over that bottle of tylenol?
Are you, um, you alright?
Does anyone have a cigarette?
I’d really need one right about now.
No, sorry.I have iced tea?
Don't you love a good summer storm?
The water’s so refreshing.
I agree, it feels...feels a little nice, actually.Like a little break from the heat.
