Leftovers, like you said, sound gross and are gross. Maybe I’m just a snob though.”
“You’re actually making me blush,” Annie said with a laugh as she covered her cheeks. “Eh, to each their own. Growing up on a farm, leftovers are a way to prepare food without having to add stress. My mom sometimes made a weeks worth of meals in advanced if the schedule was full, and it was a way to focus on the more important tasks at hand. But I’m all about the down home, rib sticking comfort food, and for me, somethings will always simply be better the day after.”
