Literally on day one after the introduction, Pierrot was so distracted with Harlequin that we manage to slip away.
If they were on good terms, we're cooked. Harlequin and Pierrot work well together because they know eachother since childhood, they will find a way to work together to keep us/mc

But if they actually fix their problems and get together romantically WITH MC we are cooked.
Something I've noticed about 14dwy is that when I first played it I genuinely had a hard time believing if Ren was a bad person, there's so many choices to choose from that lead you to believe he's a good person, like genuinely.
He got a haruko limited edition plush, and I was waiting and expecting it to be already bugged. But it wasn't 😭.
This is because before he interacts with us our place is already bugged.
He goes Missing for 20 minutes on your first date together, and we think nothing of it.
But then we open the socials App and all of a sudden Olivia's account is terminated???
Er... The news also says that a girl had died, and the news doesn't actually tell us who the girl is. But the app that terminated her account shows obvious signs.
Ren is a good liar, and if I didn't get bad endings on purpose I would probably believe he was normal.
The game spoon feeds us hints,

I honestly don't know if brainwashing counts as something to be warned about in these sorts of topics, but I should put it on regardless!
Mushroom Oasis is actually, my second ever Visual novel.
Mycheal is such a cutie, I like how much depth his character is! How he's aware that he's purposely keeping us in the forest to protect us, but also keep us to himself.
However, when I played mushrooms Oasis, it was during the summer of senior high years, so I might get a lot of things wrong, especially knowing the devs might have updated the game, ... I believe day 4 is in the works? So I'll have to redownload the game and come back to this post!
So forgive me for my mistakes!
Mycheal is a very eye appealing, fun cottage core character.
But a lot of people have a misconception of Mycheal being a green flag!
While, yes, he's protecting us from bigger threats, and while, yes, he's not actively hurting us.
He did- kind of... Brainwash us. Twice to be exact.
With what I recall, one of the endings, being that if we fail to kill him, he brainwashes us to be a living corpse, and he plays house with us.
This is what I believe to be an act of social deprivation, it's obvious that Mycheal wants friendship or any sort of interaction, but purposely keeps himself away, knowing he's not human and is a monster.
He apologizes to us in the ending from what I could possibly remember. But he still keeps us in the cottage.
In one o the longer routes, with or after the photo from above or specifically.

I believe we were pressing him for answers on why he's stalling on why he won't let us leave, or why he's dodging our questions.
And as we try to fight his powers we faint. And he brings us back to the cottage (I think)
So what does this make Mycheal?
Both! I remember in my shs days, he was slowly growing obsessed, or was obsessed by the idea of playing house with us the moment we meet him.
He is a creature born from, Idk, the consciousness of the forest, and is very lonely, he's read books and wants to feel company, and wants to be loved or well give love. He believes he can live this fantasy through us, well, one way or another.
So does this make Mycheal obsessed and deprived? Yes!
Does this make him a yandere? Uhm... I don't know.
But I've been told by one of my friends that in future updates he'll grow to be more and more yandere-ish...?
During this scene, Colombina is seen out of a cage, asking harlequin to save her with the words of
"I don't want them to touch me anymore"
For context, Colombina is obviously a victim, she has been called "Beautiful" by the humans that owned them, and said they'd sell her to god knows where, but it won't be a good place.
This scene, Colombina is tied, not in a cage, and Pierrot is fainted due to starvation.
Clearly, Colombina would've asked Pierrot to save her if he was conscious. But I highly doubt Pierrot would even begin to grasp the concept of killing his first love, and Colombina most likely, knew this too.
So? Who did she turn to? Harlequin. The next strongest, and the one who probably knew what she meant, by "Save me" during this scene
See, for some victims, they see only one escape.
Death
Which is unfortunate, yes. But it's a real thing that happens.
However, her death obviously had some side effects on Harlequin, because when he eats her, his laugh is... Forced.
Specifically during this scene, they were all starving. If it wasn't obvious enough (lol)
Harlequin, did not make Pierrot eat Colombina out of anger or hate.
But out of, well... What I can merely call, concern. Pierrot was dying of starvation. And the only form of consumption they had was Colombina's dead corpse.
Harlequin is an obvious closed off character, who —despite being an asshole B— still cares for everyone in the circus.
Colombina not being in a cage has high implications to the previous statements of her not wanting to be touched anymore.
