I feel the Walking Dead missed the opportunity to display Black Sisterhood in Sasha and Michonne
Or atleast some kind of dynamic between them instead of just pushing them into flat storylines then letting the audience grill them for "lack of depth"
(Mainly mfs who don't understand Sasha, Michonne is more accepted amd even then they still find reasons to grill her but how the stuff I've seen about sasha is actually insane)

Reblog if you hate picrews with no dark skin options (yes even the ones where the shade of white is even a little darker, and yes ashy tones too bc there SUPER annoying, and the ones with no curly or protective hair like braids)
Okay, so Jungle4eva is one of my fav bands and their album Volcano is one of my fav albums. I've watched the motion picture so many times that it needs to be pried out of my hands, but anywayyys I decide to script myself into the Volcano motion picture as a dancer for my fame DR and since planning looks is one of my favorite parts of scripting I wanna show you guys what I have planned while also yapping about my interpretation of the motion picture. Enjoy!
A little backstory, in my fame DR I am a model, actress, and singer who gets offered Mette Linturi's role in the Volcano motion picture (Yes, she's still a part of it.)
I am not saying that this is the storyline set in stone; I'm just sharing my interpretation.
Problemz
At the beginning of Problemz, the producers say, "We've got a problem with the signal, run an old one." The problem with the signal is them losing control over the dancers, so they are going to their old tactics of starting Problemz to break the group up again and make them easier to manipulate.
Good At Breaking Hearts
Only good at breaking hearts is honestly my favorite song off the album, and my favorite MV from the album.
It comes right after problems opening with a voice I assume is Whitey saying, "Absolutely not! No magic and no tricks, it's against the rules! If I go, I'll go like this." The magic/tricks that are against the rules are the producers' manipulation tactic using problems against the group, but it's stopped by Whitey, and she's saying they don't have the power anymore, and this is how the story will end. It’s flirty and intimate compared to all the other videos on the album. It’s the first time we actually see Will and Mette alone without all the producers, dancers, and staged drama buzzing around them. The choreography is flirty and vulnerable, like they’re finally letting their guards down and admitting what they both wanted the whole time. They’ve both been “good at breaking hearts” (Will cheating, Mette rebounding, them hurting each other)… but now it’s like they’re owning that history and choosing to come back to each other and to love each other anyway.
"Under that sunshine is just a man in grief
Summer days, so hard to leave
Baby, I'm safe in therapy
Never did I treat nobody honestly
Oh, raging fire, where you wanted me
Hate me or love me, I say, watching you walk away"
"Under that sunshine is just a man in grief." Will had it all; he accomplished everything he wanted, but the producers tainted something that was once so special, and he lost himself in it. It seemed like he had it all, but he wasn't happy.
"Baby, I'm safe in therapy. Never did I treat nobody honestly. Oh, raging fire, where you wanted me. Hate me or love me, I say, watching you walk away." I think it is Will taking accountability and showing Mette that he has grown and learned from it. In the choreography everytime Will moves towards her, she moves away, not angrily, but she's not giving in easily either. She wants Will to chase her, she wants to make him sweat after everything he did, and prove himself. He does exactly that when he continues after her, taking accountability and not letting her walk away anymore. Mette's emotional boundary at the start was "If you want me now, love me every moment," and Will is showing her that he's ready to love her every moment.
In the end, Mette and Will finally have their kiss, the on-air signs turn off, and they walk away together, no longer under the influence of the producers.
Palm Tree's
Will and Mette are noticeably missing from the group because they’re off having their moment in Good At Breaking Hearts. The producers notice Will and Mette are missing together and are upset, and they tell Red, “You’re not done there for the ride, you know? Start working the guy, we got a bet on him!” Will is getting away and they are panicking. Red rises and looks around, but he doesn’t listen; he instead sticks with the group. Like the lyrics say, Red and the group have found freedom from the producers. Palm trees represent freedom, escape, and peace. The group is now liberated from the control of the producers.
And that is my interpretation of the Jungle Volcano motion picture!
Red and Whitey are mentioned by The Producers throughout the motion picture, and I think the dancer Orianne is supposed to represent Whitey. Like I said in problemz, the white spotlight represents clarity, growth, and consciousness. Oriane is always in Mette's group but never Will's and in problemz we said that lyric "If you want me now, then love me every moment." under the spotlight was Mette's emotional boundary with Will and If Mette was a dancer on the show before Will we saw that she handled fame/the show better than Will because we haven't seen her have any big headed ego moments like Will has. So I think Whitey is always with Mette because Mette was always known for her worth, but never let it make her have a big head. However, I think Stefano is supposed to represent "Red," and I think Red is supposed to represent ego, temptation, and Problemz. Stefano is always in Will's group beside him, wears mostly red, and seems to be instigating situations. I also think it's interesting that Stefano and Orianne always seem to be opposite of each other throughout the whole motion picture in some way, like the devil and angel on Will's shoulder, pushing him between the right choices and the bad ones. I also believe that The Producers are still instigating problems and using their dancers like puppets for ratings. Stefano can be a dancer who was sent by the producers to instigate and create situations for better ratings, while Orianne acts as the group's conscience.
At the beginning of Palm Trees, the producers tell Stefano, "You're not down there for the ride, you know? Start working the guy, we got a bet on him." So OBVIOUSLY The Producers have a bet on Will and how everything will turn out, but they are indeed manipulating the situations by telling Stefano to start working the guy. Stefano was planted in Will's group to cause problems for the ratings and for their bet.
I also think Red and Whitey aren't specific dancers/characters but are more represented by Stefano and Orianne. Not only them, I think Didde wears red, and in the story can be seen as Will's temptation, and she feeds his ego. Maikolo wears mostly white and can be seen as someone who helps ground Mette through what's happening and keeps her from moping about Will. "Red and Whitey never seem to see eye to eye." That could be about Oriane and Stefano being the angel and devil throughout the stor,y and the fact that Didde and Maikolo seem to have their own issues with each other throughout the motion picture
Holding On
I think "Holding on" acts as an explanation for "Us against the world". At the beginning of "Holding on", the narrator says, "Regardless of how it could've happened, this is how it DID happen." We see them with flashing cameras everywhere, and the other dancers acting like super fans of the girls. I think it's supposed to show us that the actors are now at the height of their careers, the show is successful, and they are famous dancers. We also see Didde pulling Will away from Mette's direction by his collar. I think, and it was confirmed by the band, that Will cheated on Mette with Didde, and that caused the breakup. I think Didde and Maikolo/Will and Mette were the original couples of the show before Will and Didde cheated and got together. Which would also explain why Maikolo seems to have an issue with Didde. I think after being hurt by Will and Diddie, Mette and Maikolo sought comfort in each other. In holding on the lyrics "you keep me runnin' around like a little bitch, but I have no worries with her, I swear I'm cool with it." might be Mette's mindset after the breakup/cheating, and "but if you're bored of outside wont you come on in and let's get down" could be Didde representing temptation.
Candle Flame
(This is the look for Candle flame, Back on '74, and Every Night)
I think in candle flame, Will is confronted with his feelings for Mette when he sees her at the table with Maikolo. the lyrics are "You got me burning like a candle flame" "You're gonna hurt because you never change" "Save me from this darkness trying to heal my pain hear my prayer" and "I want you there" I think "You got me burning like a candle flame" is despite gving each other the cold shoulder and moving on with others seeing each other with different partner is bringing old feelings back up to the surface and making them jealous, "You're gonna hurt because you never change" is Will's conciseness telling him look Mette has other options she's not pinning after you so if you dont tighten up and get it together you'll lose her for good. "I want you there" is Will knowing he doesn't want Didde, he wants Mette in Didde's spot, and Mette knowing that even though Maikolo is a good guy, he's just a distraction from Will, and that she really wants Will in his spot even though her self-worth won't let her be the first to go to Will after everything.
I think the choreography in candle flame is interesting because you see the dancers' movements are almost like puppets on a string. They all sit around a table and see the new couples together. The group looks shocked, and Stefano is the first to get up to spread the gossip around the table, supporting my theory that he's the instigator. After Will's dance, when he got up from the table, he segues into Diddie's moment with her looking distressed, and Mette and the other girls seem to be scolding her at the table with Mette pointing towards Diddie multiple times before Diddie ran to Maikolo and he danced as her puppet before breaking away from her and going back to Mette. I don't think Didde is an evil, malicious character in this. I think she is also a dancer who is being manipulated by fame and the producers, but in that moment, she may have had a moment of clarity and attempted to make things right with Miakolo, but I think from Miakolo's perspective, he doesn't want to keep being her puppet on a string so he shoots her down and goes back to Mette.
Dominos
For Dominoes, I think it's very clear that Stefano is an instigator and represents red when, after filiming candle flame, Will attempts to talk with Mette for the first time backstage after everything, and seeing this, Stefano goes over to them, and Will says the wrong thing to make Mette walk away, clearly upset. He then goes to Maikolo, and Oriane appears on the other side of Maikolo, and they dance in sync before breaking apart like dominoes. I think the domino effect represents what the issues have done to the group. Will is then seen moping around after Mettes regection so Stefano put him together with Didde. When the ego is broken, it looks for something to feed it again, and Didde is the temptation that feeds Will's ego. Didde is seen looking sad after Maikolo's rejection in the candle flame, so Will acts as a distraction who makes her feel wanted. They dance together before one of the dancers rushes them off before Mette can see them, wanting to keep down the drama Stefano keeps creating. But Mette is already distracted by Maikolo's flirty dancing. The lyrics "every day so wonderful when you're near me baby. you and I so beautiful, I need love and mercy" might be the feelings Will is confronted with after candle flame, the reason he attempts to connect with Mette again
I've Been In Love
The next song is I’ve been in love, The group is out at a bar after the job, Will is sitting with Didde, and he still looks sad, like he doesn’t really want to be there, and his mind is somewhere else. The song is repeating "I've been in love" because that's what's on Will's mind. He has been in love but with Mette and not Didde. Didde notices and she slips him a pill before walking away, and gives Maikolo a look. She’s trying to get his attention to show off with Will after Maikolo rejected her in Candle Flame. Maikolo is sitting with his friend, but after Didde walks by, he gets up to dance with Mette, showing her off in return. Will sees, and he gets jealous again; his ego is bruised from Mette's rejection in Dominos, and instead of confronting it honestly, he starts showing off his dancing with Didde. He never directly interacts with Diddie after the pill and keeps his eyes locked on Mette until the lights go RED (Problemz) and he goes back to the table with Diddie. He’s showing off to make Mette jealous. Mette notices and does the same thing with Maikolo. Which again creates drama for the show. Will can’t let go of Mette, Mette can’t stop reacting to Will, same with Didde and Maikolo, and the producers are feeding the fire.
Back On '74
Back On ‘74 isn’t real. Will is on a drug trip from the pill Didde gave him, that’s why it sounds all floaty and dream-like. Will is reflecting on everything that’s going on with the lyrics “Where did it all go?” and “I learned my lesson at the same time.” At first, Didde is the lead dancer, front and center, but she starts to move from the center. Then, after Oriane “Whitey” (The conscience), Mette appears as the lead, with everyone around her disappearing; the focus is on her. Whitey is telling him that Mette is who he’s meant to be with and that he still wants her, knowing that he wants a life with Mette, not Didde. Will slides in with his friends. He does his little dancey dance to woo her and win her back, but he’s still letting his ego lead him, and it's making him show off to win her back instead of coming to her humbly and earning her forgiveness, and that causes Mette to reject him again and walk away. At the end of the song, everyone is frozen in time, so Will can look at the damage he did and the relationships he fractured. He’s reflecting, and he now knows where he went wrong. His ego and drama with Mette caused his friend group to break up, and it’s what’s keeping him from Mette. As he walks away to follow Mette.
You Ain't No Celebrity
After Back On ‘74, You ain’t no celebrity is telling both Mette and Will’s perspectives on things colliding. Mette is pissed at him for how he’s been acting since becoming the star of their show, and she’s literally telling him, “You ain’t no celebrity” to her at least. The dancing in the beginning is fast-paced and aggressive, representing Mette’s anger and hurt feelings, but when Will comes, the vibe changes from anger to something vulnerable. He looks pained, and the lyrics repeat “You push and pull, you pull and push.” he’s talking to his ego/pride, Red and Whitey, and the demands of the show. It's turning him into something he’s not, and it cost him his friends and Mette. He’s tired of it and finally collapses under the weight of all of it. He’s finally put his ego to the side, and that honesty and vulnerability are what made Mette return to him in the end.
Coming Back
In Coming Back, the producers say, “We’ll keep a close eye on these guys.” Because they saw Will and Mette reconcile. They’re acknowledging the dancers are slipping out of their control. They’ve been orchestrating all this drama for “good TV,” but now they’re realizing the dancers might be onto them.
Will and Maikolo are fighting, and it seems to be about Mette, because she had a moment with Will in You Aint No Celebrity.
Stefano is egging the fight on, giving the producers what they want.
But the fight seems very exaggerated, like a performance, and after Didde breaks it up, they start laughing and celebrating.
The group staged the whole fight to give the producers what they wanted while secretly reuniting the group behind the scenes. It’s solidarity. The friend group is back together, not divided by the producers’ manipulation. They are “coming back” to themselves, their friendships, their artistry, and rejecting the puppeteering.
Don't Play
At the start, a monitor says, "We live in a world where the powerful deceive us. We know they lie. They know." Don’t Play comes after the fallout and the rebellion against the producers in Coming Back, Whitey is the lead, and now that they know the producers were messing with their lives, there’s a glitch in the matrix. Whitey is trying to restore everything to the way it’s supposed to be. Will and Mette are back together and being all flirty again. Diddie and Maikolo have been glitched back together. Red looks around, lost before being glitched back into the group. He’s no longer the informant for the producers. The friend group is united again.
Every Night
Every night feels the most like Good Timez, like the group are finally back to that feeling and community again. Every night, is the group celebrating their win and freedom after everything they’ve been through. Every night is theirs now. Not controlled by cameras or scripts, but a genuine connection. The dancing feels fun and carefree. They’re finally back to who they were at the very beginning
