hello everyone i’m finally back! i decided to take a long break from social media after making a big decision, which was changing my major.

although i'm sad to be leaving music, i'm very excited to be graduating next year as a labor studies major!

i will still be posting the same studyblr/productivity content, but will also be using youtube, twitch, instagram a lot more this upcoming year so i wanted to keep my username consistent across platforms !

on a much better note, i found that studying to the BT21 koya asmr study video on youtube really helped me stay productive these last few days !!

i’m a music major but i hate when music majors/music history/theory nerds become all pretentious when other people say “oh i love classical music” when listening to orchestra/piano music and then the pretentious music people correct them and are like “no you’re wrong that’s actually from the romantic/baroque/etc period! everyone knows this” like i get that they’re all different but just let people enjoy things!! not everyone had access to a thorough music education growing up!! stop being condescending about it ! >:(

a bit of a late post bc of midterms (*sigh*, i did not do as well as i planned for but it’s okay!) anyway, i've been listening to japanese music a bit more often now and it really helps me with understanding japanese! i'm at the point where i’ve memorized a bunch of vocabulary but don’t really know what to do with it so listening to music has been so so helpful!

not gonna lie, this weekend was tough! but i’m slowly starting to get everything organized, i’ve been using notion and journaling has also helped a lot!

psa that my notes hardly ever look like the pictures i post!! rewriting notes is something i do to destress and 9/10 my notes look like scribbles! as much as i love writing neatly, it’s not something that’s doable during lectures !

it’s currently the start of fall quarter for me and honestly... online learning is so overwhelming!!

i’m having so much trouble keeping track of everything, i feel like i’m three weeks behind even though i’m just 5 days in lol :(

i’ve also been debating whether i should actually post more on my youtube channel... i’ve posted one video but like... i feel like my life isn’t as aesthetic as my posts make it seem haha

even though online learning is a ton of work, i can’t shake off the feeling of wanting to take 2 more classes, even though i have 5 classes already... like korean? a disneyland history class?? design? ballet?? sign me up!!
