house of leaves poster!

not my usual work, but i've been reading house of leaves lately, and i've been really enjoying myself, decided to make a poster for it! the three fellas on the cover are just three nameless folk, i felt it'd be easier instead of doing any actual characters, just in case i were to make a mistake with any of them. also included the minotaur, its not REALLY there, but i thought it'd still be a cool symbolism thing to add to the poster.

house of leaves

i just finished the book. I look up reactions to it because I want to hear what people think. And everyone seems to think Johnny truant is irrelevant to the story?? How?? Like, I laugh at the jokes about the horrors happening and he comes in like, "so I was jorkin it-". Like, yeah, that's funny. But people seem to think that's all Johnny is?And they skip his sections??? I'ma be honest, Johnny is such a compelling character to me. And not only that, my interpretation of the house itself relies on Johnny's narrative, his past, his mother, his increasing madness, his relationships with women. Even the redacted minotaur is such an amazing piece that fits into Johnny's story. How can one even begin to understand House of Leaves without Johnny? I don't get it.
