hi residents of the labyrinth its time for your yearly food come out of the basement now
what music do you like to listen to? :]
I listen to a wide variety of genres, really. Naturally in my position, I would have been exposed to many different cultures and scenarios in which the style of music I would hear in the day-to-day would change. Which is to say, it depends on the situation.
Growing up I would listen to and play primarily classical music. Galas are typically formal affairs, and entertainment would fit this trend. That isn't to say that we go so far as to play baroque or anything, but there is an expectation of a certain level of class, you know?
Kuwata prefers punk music, mostly rock. The most unique style he listens to is really Matsuzaki's work. Luck prefers that music a lot, so I listen to it often especially nowadays. I imagine I listened to a lot of punk rock during my Hope's Peak days, I just don't remember it.
As for work itself, I would often travel the world to various other places for public affairs for the company. This included many events with varying style of music. It would be hard to go so far as to list every one.
I spent a whole day wondering whether Zampano, Lude and Thumper were even real or just figments of Johnny's imagination. We don't know anything about their real identities or histories. No full names. Compared to Will Navidson and Karen, these characters are completely mysterious. We don't know anything about Zampano, he's a blind old man dictating a book about a movie he couldn't see? Why? That doesn't make any sense.
Who is Lude? He's Johnny's best friend, but we don't get his name. He has the drugs and he encourages Johnny to tell his tall tales and flirt with women. Could he be just a personification of Johnny's desires and vices? Lude was beaten by the Gdańsk Man even though it was Johnny who had sex with the Man's gf, Kyrie. Could it be that it was actually Johnny getting beaten and not Lude which would explain his delusions about staying in the hospital?
What about Thumper? Why is a stripper hanging out constantly in the tattoo saloon? It's like she's coming there to see Johnny - or he's just imagining it. Johnny doesn't even know her name and he calls her by a nickname he came up with. She's like his female best friend, a mother-like figure (she even has a child!) giving him advice to get better (by getting out of the house - in every sense).
Or maybe The Navidson Record and its characters are completely made up, that's why there's so much information about them, while those Johnny doesn't know everything about - Zampano, Lude and Thumper - are the real people?
im showing bf lude the incredibles and am only just now realizing the optics of going "hey byakuya togami my fictive boyfriend byakuya togami. would you like to watch a movie where a couple of children fight to the death on an island. would you like that. my fictive boyfriend Byakuya Togami. would you like that"
