Oofff 3 years since I posted anything of my own. Life's been preventing me from playing with dolls but I still love them!

It’s not often Christophe gets to see real, green leaves! It’s usually hard buildings and broken tech. He’d probably enjoy seeing something more natural on occasion.

Real photos! Christophe got to see the light of day! I’m sure he’s annoyed at being covered in grass clippings but I had a blast.

:D new dollie things from the past few months!!

I got a new job about 2 months ago, and treated myself to some stuff for finally leaving my retail position! Hospital position is much nicer!

First is this cute blue girl (even though she looks white in photos, lol) black cherry doll brownie bukkumi! I love her shes so small amd sweet!

Then i finally got a body for my si02 little prince head! Im so excited! Ive been trying to get him a body for 2 years ; v; its a 2d doll 68cm body and i love it ao much. Also first time getting jointed hands!

And last another floating head...id wanted her when she first was released but missed out, and got her 2nd hand! Shes a flower and junior char sd sized!

I just found out that they have a page on their website that allows you to pick a color, and they’ll give you the exact formula of dyes to make it happen. not just the colors to use, but the actual amounts! incredible!

it’s on the ritdye dot com site, just click “color formulas” and choose whatever type you’re using (Dyemore for resin). they even have a section specifically for skintones! this is an absolute gamechanger.

alright so, recasters (counterfeiters) on etsy are becoming a not-insignificant problem. there aren’t that many, but they all show up in the first few pages if you search “bjd”. of course, there are also companies and individual artists who sell on etsy, so it would be easy, especially for someone new to the hobby, to get confused. so I made a list of for-sure recasters that you can avoid.

before we go any further, let me be clear: this isn’t meant to be a “callout” post or anything like that. I’m not exposing anyone, they’re all pretty obvious if you’ve been around bjds for a while (though some of them do have little tricks to get people to buy). so don’t go harassing these sellers. this is just a warning for those who don’t want to buy counterfeits or from recasters.
