-5 prompt words picked at random

No sign up required!!! Here's how it works:

-Pretty much the only rule is that you must be 18 years or older in order to participate in this fest. There are no content limitations, no minimum or maximum word count, and no moderation of posted works as I AM NOT the creator of the Anonymous Unicorns collection!

-Beginning FRIDAY, MAY 29, a number of prompts-- in the form of (for example) themes, kinks, body parts, and (maybe) some randomly generated words will be shared to inspire fics for the week.

-Authors may post to the collection at any point in the week to the Anonymous Unicorns collection using the tag "anonymous unicorns challenge" if they like. These fics can be inspired by the prompt words or not-- it's up to you!

-The following Friday, this blog will share a roundup post of all the 1D fics shared to the anon unicorns collection! Link and brief description will be included in the post along with the challenge graphic (similar to above).

-Still working out sharing posts for individual fics in addition to the weekly roundup and collecting fics by authors who choose to sign their fics with an emoji at the end of the month.

UPDATE!!

I've been a little MIA the past couple of weeks, but the poll results are in and I wanted to share that the schedule will remain as posted (see the pinned post) but prompts will be shared as a whole list and (for those of us who need a little guidance) on a picker wheel! I will also select a handful each week just because I want to :)

If you have specific kinks or dark subject matter that you'd like to see, feel free to send an ask or leave a comment and I'll make sure it's included.

This one is for potential readers! I wanna get a sense of what will potentially draw you in/entice you to check out the fics in this fest. Definitely need comments/reblogs with tags for this because I'm not sure my poll will really cover this topic well? But I gotta try!!

I know the waters are a little muddy when it comes to kinks vs tropes in some ways, so just as an example: bondage would be a kink, fuck or die would be a trope. There's obviously lots of grey area there, and I'm not actually sure how I'll divide things up just yet (or if I will at all).

Announcing Round One of the 1D Anonymous Unicorns Challenge!!

The Anon Unicorn collection has until recently been a treasure trove of dead dove fics for the 1D fandom. This challenge aims to restore some of that glory!!

There will be no sign ups for this collection (as I do not have any control over it) and fics will go live as soon as they are posted, with a round up post shared at the end of each week of the one month challenge.
