Most* lifelong singlets will never know what it's like to be literally told you are not real. Not just "oh this aspect of you isn't real" but a literal "You are not real. You do not exist and you never will."

Most lifelong singlets do not know the suffering that comes from people saying "I think you're [this other person] instead."

And this is not me saying that people denying *parts* of singlets (your disability, race, sex, gender identity, orientation, etc) isn't traumatic and horrible. It is. You don't deserve to have ANY part of you denied.

But to have someone genuinely think you are nothing. Genuinely, unironically think you *entirely* don't exist. That you are merely roleplay or imagination. That there is only one person in the body, and that it's *not you.*

That is something lifelong singlets usually do not experience.

I don't get how plurals can do that to other plurals. I don't get how you can say "Actually you don't exist. You are literally fake" when that's exactly how singlets treat you. And I don't understand how you can call that "discourse" instead of what it actually is - cruelty beyond measures. Erasure beyond measures.

I will not and cannot EVER be around someone who simply humors me as a "concept" or a "game" rather than an actual fucking existing being. Never.

*There is massive solidarity to be found with singlet schizospecs who are being abusively told "you aren't real!" as an attempt to trigger derealization hallucinations. Same for singlets who are accused of being bots or faking their identity/sockpuppeting online.

it's been a long time since we've posted a comic so we're a little nervous. this issue has been weighing on us for a long time though, especially recently. we know that sharing experiences like this always helps us to be nicer to ourselves. and we always share them with the hope that it can help someone else, too.

Before syscovery I/(host) was using a name of a celestial body in a particular Group/Constellation I liked as my username online.

A while after the first guy we/I found out about had picked a name, he has realized "Damn, I could have named myself [name of another celestial body in the Group] and our system name could have been [Group name] System", but he was already attached to the name he's picked previously.

So we thought maybe we could do something like middle names or assigned celestial bodies of that group, and we ended up using that [Group name] name also because it sounded nice.

We ended up running out of celestial bodies with proper names to assign to everyone. But [Group Name] still sticks anyway. :)

(And a nickname out of that username has become my own alter-specific name :> )

hell on body technique

we have been... Very Sick! and it's the first time this has happened since we figured things out... making this quite insightful into our functioning!

orange has been focussed on keeping us in contact/around people (for sanity) and communicating issues to our doctor

green has been maintaining the living space, and making sure we keep up with positive hobbies!

purple has been giving company and reassurance during flare-ups, keeping us calm when doing necessary outdoor tasks such as shopping

red has been preventing negative behaviour resulting from the pain and required downtime, especially when trying to sleep

white has been very hands-off, because he hates heat and we have a temperature and it's summer.

he just keeps creeping in at night when it's a bit cooler and agreeing with the obvious

overall, i think that we are handling things very well! (honestly white does so much for us he should get paid leave)
