Love that Ume helped keep the boys focused by centering Sakura over Suo. That's a leader right there. They can't do anything with Suo atm but they can control the situation with Sakura. They know Suo went back to his real home, but they don't know exactly where he'd be located. At least with Sakura they know Nirei and gang can find him and try to comfort. If they want to move forward they need to make sure Sakura is of sound mind as they know Sakura has insecurities on another level than them due to the childhood neglect. Suo is with his brothers but Sakura has only them, Furin, to support him and they know Sakura rarely reaches out for help. It was a milestone that Sakura asked Endo for help cuz he saw Nirei's determined face. He went out his comfort zone and got burned with the truth (Endo version) of Suo. That's gonna be a hard recovery.

The best possible thing you can do for your community is to unlearn shame. EVERY SINGLE TIME -- every single time -- that I had that kind of cringey, secondhand embarrassment, desire-to-censure reaction to someone, it was because I was reacting to something in MYSELF that I was ashamed of. It was my own shame reflexively transforming itself into a weapon of judgment against someone else. It's subtle, it's insidious, and unless you consciously start to recognize the impulse and deconstruct it, you'll keep doing it.
It's not about them. It's about you and your relationship with yourself. If you're pointing fingers, look inwards. You've got a wound in there.
(Also the anon in the first post sounds like a teenager -- teens are often carrying a LOT of shame, which is why they're often so quick to be so loudly judgmental. Be gentle with them. Don't shame them for being ashamed, give them reassurance and space to grow past their shame.)
I love when people ask "how did you learn this skill?" I just started, there's no secret. that's it. a vast majority of the time the only thing holding you back is your trepidation to start.

I don't know. I couldn't see his face because of the gas mask. I don't know.
one of my favorite story elements is "character way past their prime can still absolutely wreck you, leaving you to wonder just how powerful they used to be"

a suo moment like this where he asks if it's ok for him to be angry, or if he can ask for help, if he can receive support, if he can be weak
and out of the darkness - you you you you you
Looking back, I wonder how much of Vanitas's choice in this scene is tied to the fact that he was given a choice in the first place.
So much of Vanitas's character is centered around the theme of self-determination (and the lack thereof). He is absolutely deprived of any control over his body and/or destiny at many of the key points in his life, and nowadays he's always desperately grasping at what few shards of self-determination he does have. This is why he freaks out when Roland talks about him being "under the vampires' power" in mémoire 15. It's why he's hung up on the idea of freedom as isolation from others' influence. It's why his main response to being triggered is to do something crazy and cause a scene; it puts him in control of the situation.
All that to say, when Luna destroys Moreau's lab and agrees to take Misha away, Vanitas must be desperate to feel some form of in-control, but I do not think he expects to be given any choice in what happens to him next. He's been conditioned not to expect that despite how much he wants it.
No understand word.
