Another thing i find refreshing from Mortgully The Last Rickforest is Morty being able to be with an adult/ adults who don't take advantage of him and accept him as part of their community when they found him. They support Morty first idea of taking a less violent route and are overall nice to him.

Yeah actually I was so suspicious of them and spent the whole montage thinking they'd turn out to be creeps or evil, and that really slapped me in the face how conditioned I was to seeing adults take advantage of Morty that I was stumped that nothing happened so I can only imagine how Morty himself must feel, he probably doesn't even register the concept of adults being a positive force in his life at all, which is really fucking sad and now I'm gonna go drink
