what i really absolutely adore about every first season of skam is that they’re always incredible at capturing just how lonely the eva character feels in the beginning of her season despite the fact that she has a boyfriend. in the first episode there is always such a bleak and uncomfortable atmosphere up until she meets the other girls at the end of it. i think this is so important to show especially because so many teen girls prioritize having a boyfriend above all else which oftentimes makes them ditch or abandon their friends in the process of getting into a relationship. and season 1 of skam is always like well having a boyfriend alone sucks and won’t make you happy! and then eva is always so fulfilled and better off at the end of her season when she has her girls and no longer a boyfriend!

WOW that clip completely subverted expectations! it's very interesting watching part of a skam clip be from an outsiders pov since as a rule skam tends to almost exclusively only show you what the main character knows, experiences, and understands.

I think this deliberate decision by the sram team is showing us that lovro is seeing HIMSELF though yakov and the boys' eyes. He is performing heterosexuality for them to see, for everyone to watch him do what he's supposed to with the girl he's supposed to like. He can be more of himself here, punk, get high, get with a girl who is more subversive- maybe she is actually more of his type this time. But not all of himself. Not yet.
