A: We received 90 total applications! 42 artists, 13 merch artists, and 35 writers! We’re ever grateful for the support for the zine and we’re excited to release results tomorrow ☺️

Is it okay if the writing samples are simply excerpts from a story, or do we need to show you completed works under 3k words? I have a fe3h fic in the works but it's way over 3k, so I was wondering if I could just share an excerpt under the word limit and still be considered.
A: Yes, it is okay to submit excerpts from a longer story as long as they have a beginning and end. To be more precise, your excerpt should be a completed scene(s) rather than incomplete parts of multiple scenes.
